  • Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: Questionable for Week 14

Eskridge (ribs) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers after logging a limited practice session Friday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Eskridge sat out Thursday's practice with a rib injury and returned Friday in a limited capacity. The injury forced him to sit out the Seahawks' Week 13 loss to the Cowboys. If Eskridge is unable to play Sunday, Zach Charbonnet (knee) figures to be the next man up for kick return duties, assuming he's able to suit up for the contest.

  • Seahawks' Tre Brown: Questionable versus San Fransisco

Brown (heel) was a limited participant in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Brown missed the first two practices of the week before logging a limited session Friday. He played a season-high 62 defensive snaps in Week 13 against the Cowboys behind starters Riq Woolen and Devon Witherspoon. If Brown is unable to suit up Sunday, Mike Jackson figures to be the likely candidate to step into the slot corner position.

  • Seahawks' Jordyn Brooks: Officially questionable for Week 13

Brooks (ankle) was a limited participant in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the 49ers, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Brooks missed back-to-back practices to start the week but was able to log a limited session Friday. He sustained an ankle sprain in the Seahawks' Week 13 loss to the Cowboys and played a season-low 25 defensive snaps. If Brooks ends up ruled out for Sunday's game, Devin Bush figures to slot in as the starting inside linebacker alongside Bobby Wagner.

  • Seahawks' Jarran Reed: Questionable for Sunday

Reed (hamstring) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the 49ers, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

According to Dugar, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told reporters Friday that the team "just gave him [Reed] a break today," implying that he'll be available for Sunday's contest. If Reed's hamstring issue were to hold him out in Week 14, Cameron Young would likely assume the starting nose tackle duties.

  • Seahawks' Jamal Adams: Cleared for Sunday

Adams (knee) was a full participant in Friday's practice and does not carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the 49ers.

Adams was able to log back-to-back full practice sessions to end the week and is set to suit up against the 49ers for the second time this season. Adams had six tackles (three solo) in the first matchup and has accumulated 44 tackles (31 solo) and two pass deflections in eight games overall this season.

  • Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Looking good for Sunday

Head coach Pete Carroll expressed optimism Friday that Charbonnet (knee) will play in Sunday's game against the 49ers, despite the running back being listed as questionable for the contest, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Charbonnet and fellow running back Kenneth Walker (oblique) both followed the same practice regimen this week, sitting out Wednesday and then upgrading to limited activity Thursday before practicing in full Friday. Like Charbonnet, Walker also carries a questionable tag into Sunday, and Carroll is optimistic he'll play. Charbonnet's fantasy value will take a big hit if Walker is back in the lineup after missing two games, as anticipated. Assuming both Charbonnet and Walker are active, the two would likely resume the backfield timeshare that had been the norm prior to Walker missing the past two games, an arrangement that typically resulted in Walker dominating the carries while Charbonnet garnered most of the routes and targets. Charbonnet played 87 percent of Seattle's snaps on offense in the Seahawks' first game without Walker in Week 12, and the rookie was then at 76 percent before a knee contusion forced him out of last Thursday's loss to Dallas in the fourth quarter.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Questionable after full practice

Walker (oblique) was a full practice participant Friday, with head coach Pete Carroll expressing optimism that the running back will play in Sunday's game at San Francisco despite being listed as questionable, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Walker and Zach Charbonnet (knee) followed the same practice routine this week, sitting out Wednesday and logging limited sessions Thursday before upgrading to full activity Friday. Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune agrees with Carroll's assessment that Walker is on track to return to action this weekend, though Walker had been ceding about half the running-back snaps to Charbonnet before missing the past two games. The rookie has typically gotten the bulk of his work on passing downs when Walker is available, with the latter handling the majority of carries.

  • Seahawks' Drew Lock: Could be needed for spot start

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll suggested after Friday's practice that Lock could start Sunday's game against the 49ers with Geno Smith (groin) listed as questionable and being labeled as a game-time decision, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports. "He's been waiting for this opportunity. If this comes to pass he is as ready as he's going to get," Carroll said of Lock.

Smith's groin injury cropped up during Thursday's practice, when the quarterback "stumbled over somebody," Carroll relayed to Bell. Carroll went on to note that Smith was rested at Friday's practice, but the Seahawks are seemingly still hopeful that their usual starting signal-caller will be able to play Sunday. If Smith is unable to show enough improvement ahead of Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff, however, Lock has kept himself prepared to make what would be his first start for Seattle since he was acquired from Denver as part of the March 2022 deal that sent Russell Wilson to the Broncos. Lock has thus far been limited to just two relief appearances through his one-plus seasons in Seattle, completing four of 12 pass attempts for 66 yards and an interception.

  • Seahawks' Geno Smith: Being treated as game-time call

Head coach Pete Carroll said Friday that he considers Smith (groin) a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup with the 49ers, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Smith was added to the injury report Thursday as a limited participant and then held out of practice Friday. He's officially listed as questionable, with Carroll's comments suggesting the team will treat Smith as such entering the weekend, though long-time Seahawks beat reporter Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune said that he'll be surprised if the quarterback doesn't play. Drew Lock will start at quarterback if Smith is listed among Seattle's list of inactives, which will be released 90 minutes before the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Gets questionable tag

Charbonnet (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at San Francisco, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

The Seahawks gave the same designation to Kenneth Walker, who missed the past two games with an oblique injury. Both Walker and Charbonnet missed practice Wednesday before returning to the field as limited participants Thursday and then full participants Friday. Though the ability of both backs to take full reps Friday bodes well for their chances of playing Sunday, official word on either player's status won't arrive until Seattle releases its inactive list 90 minutes ahead of the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. Seattle faces a tough matchup against San Francisco, but Charbonnet's large workloads the past two weeks suggest he would make for a solid fantasy start if he's active and Walker isn't.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Questionable for Week 14

Walker (oblique) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at San Francisco, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Walker and Zach Charbonnet (knee) are both taking the same designation into the weekend after returning to practice Thursday as limited participants. The two had been splitting snaps about 50-50 before Walker missed the past two games with an injury, though Walker had a sizable advantage when it came to carry counts. Charbonnet then dominated backfield work in Walker's absence over the past two weeks, with DeeJay Dallas barely playing as the backup until a knee contusion forced Charbonnet out in the fourth quarter of last Thursday's loss to Dallas.

  • Seahawks' Geno Smith: Listed as questionable

Smith (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at San Francisco, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Smith was added to the injury report Thursday, and the signing of quarterback Sean Mannion to Seattle's practice squad Friday might be taken as a sign that the Seahawks are at least slightly concerned about Smith missing Sunday's game. Head coach Pete Carroll could provide some added context regarding Smith's health when he talks to the media following Friday's practice.

  • Seahawks' Jamal Adams: Practices Thursday

Adams (knee) was a limited participant in practice Thursday after missing Wednesday's session, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Adams is trending in the right direction as the Seahawks' Week 14 matchup with the 49ers approaches. The safety has 44 tackles and two passes defensed in eight games this season.

  • Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: Misses practice Thursday

Eskridge (ribs) did not participate in practice Thursday after fully participating in Wednesday's session, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

The wide receiver sat out of the Seahawks' Week 13 loss to the Cowboys with the injury. Eskridge does not have a catch this season on 16 offensive snaps, though he is Seattle's kick returner.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Practices fully

Bobo (knee) was a full participant in practice Thursday after participating on a limited basis Wednesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

The depth wide receiver first appeared on the injury report Wednesday. Bobo has 15 catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns as well as a rushing touchdown in 2023.
