  • Packers' Evan Williams: Limited in practice Wednesday

Williams (hamstring) was listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday.

Williams suffered a hamstring injury in Week 8 against the Jaguars, which was severe enough for him to be sidelined against the Lions in Week 9. The issue seems to have lingered beyond the Packers' Week 10 bye as Williams was limited in the first practice of the week, but the rookie fourth-round pick will have two more chances to increase his practice participation ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Logs full practice Wednesday

Love (groin) was a full practice participant Wednesday.

Love exited early during the Packers' Week 8 win at Jacksonville due to a strained groin but was able to play every snap in a Week 9 loss to the Lions. He struggled in rainy conditions in the latter contest, completing 23 of 39 passes for 273 yards, no touchdowns and one interception while being credited with three fumbles, none of which he lost. With the team's Week 9 bye to heal up, Love is good to go moving forward, but running backs Josh Jacobs (quadriceps) and MarShawn Lloyd (ankle/hamstring) both were limited participants Wednesday, leaving the backfield in some flux ahead of Sunday's contest at Chicago.

  • Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Dealing with two injuries

Lloyd practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday due to ankle and hamstring injuries, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

The Packers designated Lloyd for return from injured reserve Monday, and in his first session since Week 2 prep, he showed up not only with an ankle issue but another health concern as well. The former is the high-ankle sprain that has sidelined him the last seven games, while the latter is a new injury. Green Bay's top running back Josh Jacobs (quadriceps) also was limited Wednesday, leaving question marks in the team's backfield ahead of Sunday's game in Chicago.

  • Packers' Josh Jacobs: Limited by quad injury

Jacobs (quadriceps) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

On the heels of a Week 10 bye, Jacobs is making an appearance on the Packers' first Week 11 practice report, as is rookie RB MarShawn Lloyd (ankle/hamstring), who also was limited after the team designated him for return from injured reserve Monday. Jacobs and Lloyd will have two more chances this week to return to full participation or else risk entering the weekend with designations ahead of Sunday's game at Chicago.

  • Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Limited in practice

Lloyd (ankle) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.

The Packers designated Lloyd to return from injured reserve Monday, opening a 21-day window in which he can practice without being placed on the active roster. It's unclear at this point if he'll be activated before Sunday's game against the Bears or if he'll leapfrog fellow running backs Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks on the depth chart.

  • Packers' Jaire Alexander: Limited Wednesday

Alexander (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.

Alexander has been sidelined since sustaining a knee injury in the fourth quarter of the Packers' Week 8 win over the Jaguars. However, Wednesday's limited session suggests he could be nearing a return to the field. Alexander's participation Thursday and Friday will likely provide the best indication of whether he can play in Sunday's divisional matchup against the Bears.

  • Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Has practice window opened

The Packers designated Lloyd (ankle) for return from injured reserve Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

As the Packers returned from their bye week, they appear poised to get back the rookie third-round pick for the first time since he suffered a sprained ankle during a Week 2 win against the Colts. The team's top running back Josh Jacobs seemed to intimate as much earlier Monday, telling Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, "I'm excited to see him go this week." Emanuel Wilson and recently Chris Brooks have been spelling Jacobs out of the backfield, but Lloyd could soon join them if he shows well enough in practice this week.

  • Packers' Evan Williams: Some hope of returning Sunday

Coach Matt LaFleur said Monday he was optimistic Williams (hamstring) would be able to play in Week 11 at Chicago, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Williams spent the Packers' last game before their bye on the sidelines due to a hamstring issue he picked up in Week 8 at Jacksonville, but there's hope that will be the only game he'll have to miss as he recovers. His name will be one to watch for when Green Bay releases its first official practice report of the week Wednesday.
