  • Bengals' Jermaine Burton: Out of sync Thursday

Burton caught one of five targets for 11 yards in a Week 10 loss to the Ravens on Thursday Night Football. He also returned a kickoff for 17 yards.

With Tee Higgins (quad) out a third straight week and Charlie Jones (groin) missing a second consecutive contest, Burton was given a chance to play after he was a healthy scratch in Week 9 against the Raiders. The rookie wideout couldn't get much going, however, as he was able to reel in just one of the five passes thrown his way. Burton's lone reception was at least an impactful one, as his third-down, 11-yard catch with less than a minute remaining in the first half put the Bengals on Baltimore's three-yard line and was immediately followed by a Joe Burrow touchdown pass to Tanner Hudson. Still, Burton was mostly unimpressive in the defeat, and he could have a hard time getting on the field in Week 11 against the Chargers if Higgins is able to return to action.

  • Bengals' Andrei Iosivas: Nabs pair of catches Thursday

Iosivas recorded two catches on four targets for 29 yards Thursday in a Week 10 loss to the Ravens.

Iosivas logged the second-most catches and yards among Cincinnati wideouts in the contest, though his production was nearly unnoticeable compared to Ja'Marr Chase's huge 11-catch, 264-yard, three-touchdown performance. It's also worth noting that two tight ends (Tanner Hudson and Mike Gesicki) registered more targets, catches and yards than Iosivas, as did running back Chase Brown. Iosivas has served as the Bengals' No. 2 wideout over the past three weeks while Tee Higgins has been sidelined due to a quad injury, but Iosivas hasn't done much with the opportunity, totaling just three catches for 39 yards and a touchdown over the three-game span.

  • Bengals' Khalil Herbert: Sees just two snaps in team debut

Herbert didn't record a carry or a target in Thursday's Week 10 loss to Baltimore.

Herbert joined Cincinnati in a trade between the Bengals and Bears on Tuesday, and he was able to suit up just two days later. However, Herbert didn't make the best first impression, as he couldn't grasp the ball on a handoff from QB Joe Burrow in the second quarter. The fumble was questionably charged to Burrow, and Herbert was credited with the recovery after he fell on top of the ball, but that was essentially the extent of Herbert's involvement in the contest (he logged just one other snap). The fourth-year running back has a chance to grow into a significantly larger role once he gets more accustomed to the Bengals' playbook, especially with Zack Moss (neck) landing on injured reserve Tuesday, but Chase Brown figures to remain heavily involved after tallying 94 total yards from scrimmage and scoring a touchdown in Thursday's loss.

  • Bengals' Drew Sample: No targets in Week 10

Sample did not see any targets in Thursday's loss to the Ravens.

Sample had his best game of the season with four catches and a touchdown in Week 9 against Las Vegas, but he was back to being a non-factor Thursday. Meanwhile, Bengals No. 1 tight end Mike Gesicki caught four passes (on nine targets) for 30 yards against Baltimore, and Tanner Hudson notched six catches (on seven targets) for 42 yards and a touchdown. Sample did finish second among the team's tight ends with 46 offensive snaps, but with zero receptions in seven of his 10 contests this season, he can't be counted on for offensive production on a weekly basis.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Doesn't attempt any FGs in Week 10

McPherson converted all four of his extra-point tries and did not attempt a field goal in Thursday's loss to Baltimore.

McPherson came through when called upon, but all of his kicks were PATs. The Bengals opted to try for a two-point conversion on their final touchdown with less than 40 seconds remaining in the contest, costing McPherson a fifth point-after attempt and resulting in a loss when the team was unable to convert. McPherson has made more than one field goal just once over his past six contests.

  • Bengals' Isaiah Williams: Coming to Cincinnati

The Bengals claimed Williams off waivers Friday.

Williams, an undrafted rookie from Illinois, appeared in two games with the Lions before being waived Thursday, catching two of his three targets for six yards across just eight offensive snaps. He'll likely serve as a depth piece in Cincinnati's wide receiver room as the season progresses.
