Chiefs' Isiah Pacheco: Not expected to land on IR
Pacheco, who is out Sunday against the Bills, is believed to be dealing with a shoulder contusion, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Per Rapoport, Pacheco's injury is not considered a long-term issue and the running back isn't expected to land on IR. In his absence versus Buffalo, Clyde Edwards-Helaire is in line to start Sunday, with Jerick McKinnon also slated to see his share work in Kansas City's Week 14 backfield.

Chiefs' Bryan Cook: Lands on IR
The Chiefs placed Cook (ankle) on injured reserve Saturday.
Cook sustained an ankle injury in Week 13 against the Packers. He managed to avoid a fracture but was unable to practice this week and is now set to sit out for at least the next four games while on IR. The earliest Cook can return would be Week 18 against the Chargers on Jan. 7. The 2022 second-round pick has 42 tackles (26 solo), one interception, two forced fumbles and a defensive touchdown through 12 games this season.

Chiefs' Nick Bolton: Activated off IR
The Chiefs activated Bolton (wrist) from injured reserve Saturday.
Bolton was able to participate in full this week and carried no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Bills. He's played just four games this season, as he's missed time with an ankle injury and, most recently, a dislocated wrist that required surgery. Bolton will resume his starting spot at middle linebacker and help bolster a Chiefs defense that ranks fourth in the NFL in yards allowed per game (297.7).

Chiefs' Deneric Prince: Moves to active roster
Prince was elevated from the practice squad Saturday.
It'll be interesting to see how the Chiefs will utilize Prince, especially in the absence of Isiah Pacheco (shoulder). Head coach Andy Reid stated Clyde Edwards-Helaire would be the team's de-facto starter and it's widely expected Jerick McKinnon will likely see a significant snap share as the team's pass-catching back, but it's possible the rookie Prince could whittle away at the former's opportunities, especially in obvious running situations.

Chiefs' Donovan Smith: Ruled out for Week 14
Smith (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest versus the Bills, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Smith suffered a neck injury in the team's loss to the Packers in Week 13, and he'll now be forced to sit out at least one week as a result. In his absence, Wanya Morris will likely step into a starting role at left tackle Sunday against Buffalo.
