    Analysis

    I don't think much of Boston as it has lost four in a row and is last in the AL East, but the Sox were off on Thursday so obviously the bullpen is fully ready behind Sonny Gray (7-1, 3.20). He's a rare thing that has gone right for the team in 2026 and is 3-0 with a 2.52 ERA in five home starts. The Rangers won in Kansas City on Thursday and used their closer Jacob Latz (10 saves, 1.69 ERA) for a second straight game so I'd imagine he's not available tonight. Starter Jack Leiter (3-5, 4.69 ERA) has been hit pretty hard in three of his past four overall and has a 5.29 road ERA.

    Analysis

    Texas is on a roll, 9-3 in its last 12 games. On the year, Boston ranks 29th in runs scored and dead-last in home runs hit. The Sox did score five runs on Thursday and have the bats to wake up. They have a starter worth backing in Sonny Gray, who is 5-0 with a 2.50 ERA in his last seven. We’re not afraid of fading Jack Leiter, who has given up four runs in three of his last four starts and is 1-3 with a 5.26 ERA in six road starts.

    Analysis

    Currently at .500, the Texas Rangers would love to make their move now ahead of the All Star break. A player that needs to get going is Evan Carter. He is hitting just .178 on the season, but is coming off clearing his combination line in all three games against the Royals. In a hitter friendly ballpark at Fenway, look for Carter to use his power to extend his prop cashing to four straight games. Take his over.

    Analysis

    DraftKings/Caesar’s. Nolan McLean has stayed under this hits line in 10/13 games this season. After a shaky three game stretch in late May, he’s found his form over his last two games (11 innings, 5 hits, 2 runs). The Mets rookie’s phenomenal stuff leads to inefficiencies, as he averages 4.03 pitches per plate appearance (16th percentile amongst qualified starters). That, coupled with a 9% walk rate actually helps our case with this prop - McLean only allows a hit every 5.6 batter faced, or every 22.7 pitches thrown. And I think the books are overvaluing the Braves offense after their blistering start. Atlanta is hitting .235 as a team against righties over the last month, and are without both Drake Baldwin and Ronald Acuna Jr.

    Analysis

    There's nothing like a matchup on June 12th between two reigning playoff teams whose starters are a combined 2-14 this season. Tanner Bibee and Jack Flaherty have been extreme disappointments to say the least this season, but I'm backing the Guardians and their starter on Friday. Bibee enters off eight shutout innings last Saturday against Texas in his best start of the season. The other time he threw eight innings was last month against Detroit, when Cleveland's starter only surrendered one run. On the other hand, Flaherty hasn't thrown more than six innings in a game all season and I don't trust Detroit's pedestrian bullpen (4.21 ERA). The Guardians snap out of a four game losing streak with a home win today.
