Dunn (upper body) will not suit up Monday against the Sabres, per the NHL's media site.

  • Kraken's Joey Daccord: Exits ice first

Daccord was the first goalie off the ice Monday, Scott Malone of Root Sports Northwest reports, indicating he'll be in goal at home versus Buffalo.

Daccord has earned just two wins in his last nine outings, posting a 2-6-1 record, a 2.79 GAA and a .913 save percentage in that span. With starter Philipp Grubauer giving up eight goals on 63 shots (.873 save percentage) in his last two outings, both defeats, Daccord could get the chance to play his way out of his current funk and reclaim the starting job.

  • Kraken's Ryker Evans: Produces assist Saturday

Evans logged a power-play assist and two PIM in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Predators.

Evans set up Andre Burakovsky's tally in the third period, which was all the Kraken could put past Juuse Saros. The 22-year-old Evans has two helpers, both on the power play, over his last five games while filling in for Vince Dunn (upper body). For the season, Evans has managed six helpers, 27 shots on net, 33 hits, 21 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a minus-3 rating through 21 appearances.

  • Kraken's Oliver Bjorkstrand: Manages power-play helper

Bjorkstrand posted a power-play assist, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Predators.

Bjorkstrand helped out on an Andre Burakovsky tally in the third period. Few Kraken have found consistency lately, but Bjorkstrand has been up there with six goals and two assists over his last nine contests. The 28-year-old winger is up to 48 points, 160 shots on net, 52 hits and a minus-19 rating through 66 appearances. He's within striking distance of matching his career-high 57-point campaign from 2021-22.

  • Kraken's Andre Burakovsky: Deposits lone goal in loss

Burakovsky scored a power-play goal on three shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Predators.

Burakovsky has scored three times over six games since he returned from an undisclosed injury. The winger has had little success on offense this season outside of his recent surge. He's up to four goals, 12 points (five on the power play), 55 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 33 appearances. Burakovsky continues to see middle-six minutes and time on the second power-play unit.

  • Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Loses to Predators

Grubauer stopped 26 of 29 shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Predators. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Grubauer did well to keep the Kraken in it for most of the game, but a pair of Roman Josi tallies in the third period turned the tide in favor of the Predators. Grubauer has lost three of his past four outings, and he's allowed 12 goals in that span. The 32-year-old netminder is at 10-11-2 with a 2.86 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 26 appearances. The Kraken wrap up a five-game homestand Monday versus the Sabres.

  • Kraken's Jaden Schwartz: Still out of action

Schwartz (upper body) will sit out his third straight game Saturday versus Nashville, according to Sound of Hockey.

Schwartz is having a middling season with 11 goals and 23 points in 47 appearances. The 31-year-old forward logged only 3:09 of ice time versus Winnipeg on March 8 before leaving the contest with an injury. Schwartz will likely be a middle-six option upon his return.

  • Kraken's Vince Dunn: Remains day-to-day

Dunn (upper body) is not expected to play Saturday against Nashville, Sound of Hockey reports.

Dunn is still considered day-to-day despite taking part in Saturday's morning skate. He will miss his fifth consecutive contest. Dunn has racked up 11 goals, 45 points, 58 PIM, 118 shots on net and 60 blocked shots across 57 appearances this campaign. Ryker Evans has been playing during Dunn's absence.

  • Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Set to face Nashville

Grubauer was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Scott Malone of Root Sports reports, indicating he will patrol the home crease Saturday against the Predators.

Grubauer is coming off a 29-save effort in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to Vegas. He has provided a 10-10-2 record this season with a 2.85 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 25 games played. Nashville ranks 13th in the league this campaign with 3.18 goals per contest.

  • Kraken's Kailer Yamamoto: Helps out on power play

Yamamoto notched a power-play assist in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Capitals.

Yamamoto has an assist in each of the last two games after spending two contests as a healthy scratch. The 25-year-old winger is up to 15 points (six on the power play), 52 shots on net, 24 hits and a minus-5 rating through 52 contests overall. While he's showing a little more offense recently, Yamamoto's fourth-line role and lack of a guaranteed place in the lineup make him a high-risk, low-reward option in fantasy.

  • Kraken's Yanni Gourde: Chips in with power-play assist

Gourde notched a power-play assist and two hits in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Capitals.

Gourde has a point in four of the last five contests (one goal, three assists). This was his second power-play point of the campaign -- he is not always in the mix to play with the man advantage. Gourde is up to 26 points, 128 shots on net, 118 hits, 56 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 63 outings. Despite his third-line role at even strength, the 32-year-old remains one of the Kraken's most important forwards on the ice, even though that doesn't always translate into offense or fantasy value.

  • Kraken's Oliver Bjorkstrand: Scores lone goal in loss

Bjorkstrand scored a power-play goal on two shots and added four hits in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Capitals.

Bjorkstrand has found his touch with five goals and an assist over his last eight outings. His tally Thursday tied the game at 1-1, but it was the only goal the Kraken could put past Charlie Lindgren. Bjorkstrand is up to 18 goals, 47 points (19 on the power play), 158 shots on net, 52 hits and a minus-17 rating through 65 appearances.

  • Kraken's Joey Daccord: Done in by two blunders

Daccord stopped 21 of 23 shots in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Capitals.

Daccord was sunk by two mistakes. The first was of his own doing, as his clearing attempt hit off T.J. Oshie and went into the net. The second goal was a product of Andre Burakovsky's turnover leading to a Connor McMichael breakaway. Daccord lost four of his last five outings, giving up 14 goals in that span. He's now at 17-14-10 with a 2.45 GAA and a .919 save percentage. The Kraken's playoff hopes are quickly fading, but the strong play of Philipp Grubauer recently will likely leave Daccord in a backup or timeshare role.

  • Kraken's Jaden Schwartz: Unavailable Thursday

Schwartz (upper body) will miss Thursday's game against Washington, per Allyson Ballard of Davy Jones' Locker Room.

Schwartz was also absent for Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to Vegas. He has 11 goals and 23 points in 47 appearances this season. Schwartz will likely serve in a middle-six capacity and receive a power-play role once he's healthy.

Dunn (upper body) will not be in the lineup Thursday versus Washington, according to Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network.

Coach Dave Hakstol made the announcement after practice Thursday. Dunn will miss his fourth straight game. Justin Schultz will continue to quarterback the first power-play unit in Dunn's absence.
