Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Makes 29 saves in victory
Hill stopped 29 of 31 shots in a 7-2 victory over Florida in Game 2 on Monday.
Vegas didn't need a solid outing from Hill, but he provided one all the same. Hill has been one of the best surprises of the 2023 playoffs, posting a 9-3 record, 2.06 GAA and .937 save percentage in 13 contests. Before this year, the 27-year-old hadn't logged a single NHL postseason game, and he didn't receive the opportunity to start in the playoffs for Vegas until the Golden Knights were missing Robin Lehner (hip), Laurent Brossoit (lower body) and Logan Thompson (lower body). Now Hill's helped Vegas pull within two wins of a championship.

Golden Knights' Alec Martinez: Tallies first goal of playoffs
Martinez found the back of the net in a 7-2 victory over Florida in Game 2 on Monday.
Martinez scored late in the first period to put the Golden Knights up 2-0. It was his first marker and sixth point in 19 playoff outings this year. At the age of 35, Martinez isn't a major offensive threat, and he recorded just three goals and 14 points in 77 regular-season contests.

Golden Knights' Jonathan Marchessault: Has three-point game
Marchessault contributed two goals and an assist in Vegas' 7-2 win over Florida in Game 2 on Monday.
Marchessault tallied the opening goal on the power play midway through the first period and then provided the secondary helper on Alec Martinez's goal late in the frame. Marchessault's second marker came early in the third period to extend Vegas' edge to 5-1. He's been one of the Golden Knights' top forwards in the 2023 playoffs, providing 12 goals and 21 points in 19 outings. The 31-year-old is also red hot, supplying seven goals and 11 points over his current seven-game scoring streak.

Carrier primarily serves on Vegas' fourth line, so it wasn't surprising when he recorded just a goal and an assist in his first 12 playoff outings this year. However, he's heated up recently, providing a goal and four points over his last three contests. Carrier's second assist Monday came during a Vegas power play, making that his first point with the man advantage in the 2023 postseason.

Amadio entered Monday's action averaging just 12:09 of ice time in the playoffs, and he received 12:12 during Vegas' latest victory. Even still, he has been effective offensively, providing four goals and nine points in 13 playoff outings. Amadio's scoring pace is way up from the regular season, during which he had 16 goals and 27 points in 67 appearances.

Howden scored two goals in Vegas' 7-2 victory over Florida in Game 2 on Monday.
Howden had just a goal and two points over his previous 12 contests, but he made a statement Monday. His first marker, which came midway through the second period, extended Vegas' lead to 4-0 and prompted Florida to pull Sergei Bobrovsky in favor of Alex Lyon. Howden then bested Lyon late in the third frame on the power play to round out the 7-2 victory. The 25-year-old forward is up to five goals and nine points in 19 playoff contests this year.

Stephenson recorded two assists in a 7-2 victory over Florida in Game 2 on Monday.
Stephenson's first helper was registered during a Vegas power play. He's up to eight goals and 17 points in 19 playoff contests this year, including five points with the man advantage. Although Stephenson could be regarded as Vegas' third-line center behind Jack Eichel and William Karlsson, he's not your typical third-liner, logging 20:57 of ice time Monday after averaging 18:15 through his previous 18 playoff appearances.

Roy tallied a goal in a 7-2 victory over Florida in Game 2 on Monday.
Roy's marker came early in the second period to extend Vegas' lead to 3-0. It was his second goal and 10th point in 19 playoff appearances this year. Although Roy was held off the scoresheet over five contests in the first round, dating back to May 3 and the start of the second round, the 26-year-old hasn't endured a scoring drought of even two games.

Eichel notched two assists in Vegas' 7-2 victory over Florida in Game 2 on Monday.
Eichel earned his second straight multi-point game, bringing him up to four assists in that span. He's been terrific throughout the playoffs, supplying six goals and 22 points through 19 appearances. Vegas has established a 2-0 lead in the Stanley Cup Finals, and if the Golden Knights are able to pull through and win the Cup, then Eichel is likely to garner serious consideration for the Conn Smythe Trophy.

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Draws Game 2 start
Hill will be stationed between the pipes in Game 2 for Monday's home tilt with the Panthers, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
Hill was dominant in Game 1, stopping 33 of 35 shots to help the Golden Knights take a 1-0 series lead. Through 12 postseason appearances, he's registered an incredible 2.06 GAA and .938 save percentage. He's picked up a win in seven of the last nine games.

McNabb notched an assist and two hits in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Panthers in Game 1.
McNabb set up his defense partner, Shea Theodore, for a go-ahead goal in the second period. Two of McNabb's three assists this postseason have come in the last four games. The 32-year-old remains primarily a defensive presence on the second pairing. In that role, he's racked up 36 hits, 40 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 17 playoff appearances.

Eichel logged two assists, two shots on goal and three hits in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Panthers in Game 1.
Eichel played a solid game early on, and he was rewarded with two helpers in the third period as the Golden Knights pulled away with the win. The center has posted five multi-point efforts in the playoffs, but this was his first since Game 5 of the second round versus the Oilers. Overall, he has six tallies, 14 assists, 61 shots on net, 22 hits, 23 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating through 18 appearances.

Whitecloud scored a goal on two shots and blocked four shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Panthers in Game 1.
Whitecloud's third-period tally stood as the game-winner for the Golden Knights. Five of his six points this postseason have come in the team's four series-opening contests. The defenseman isn't the most consistent scorer, but he's provided solid defense from the third pairing with a plus-12 rating, 34 hits and 31 blocked shots through 18 playoff appearances.
