Top Jets News

  • Jets' Brad Lambert: Recalled by Winnipeg

Lambert was recalled from AHL Manitoba on Friday.

The Jets traded several of their contributors ahead of Friday's deadline, so Lambert will rejoin the NHL club for the first time since mid-November. He's made 34 appearances with Manitoba this year, generating six goals, seven assists, 18 PIM and a minus-10 rating.

  • Jets' Isak Rosen: Up from AHL

Rosen was recalled from the minors Friday.

Rosen has 25 goals and 43 points in 37 outings with AHL Rochester in 2025-26. He also has three goals and seven points in 16 appearances with Buffalo in 2025-26. Winnipeg acquired Rosen from the Sabres on Thursday. The 22-year-old might have an opportunity to play regularly at the NHL level for the remainder of the campaign, especially with the Jets looking ahead to the future after being sellers in the trade market.

  • Jets' Josh Morrissey: Removed from IR

Morrissey (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Friday.

Following a five-game absence, Morrissey appears ready to return to the lineup against Vancouver on Saturday. He has accounted for 10 goals, 42 points, 104 shots on net and 94 blocked shots across 56 appearances this season.

  • Jets' Walker Duehr: Sent down Friday

Duehr was loaned to AHL Manitoba on Friday.

Duehr was called up by Winnipeg during the Olympic break, and he made three appearances with the Jets following the layoff. He was held without a point while recording 10 hits and two blocked shots, and he should have more consistent opportunities to contribute in the minors.

  • Jets' Isaak Phillips: Returns to AHL

Phillips was reassigned to AHL Manitoba on Friday.

Phillips was recalled Thursday and saw 12:10 of ice time in a 4-1 win over Tampa Bay. Phillips has yet to pick up a point in three NHL games this season. The defenseman had five goals and 14 assists in 44 AHL games before his recall.

  • Jets' Tanner Pearson: Garners pair of helpers

Pearson recorded two assists and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Lightning.

Pearson has three helpers over three games in March, which follows a nine-game drought from Jan. 17 to Feb. 27. The 33-year-old winger is still in a bottom-six role, so this burst of offense may not last. He's at 13 points, 49 shots on net, 68 hits, 26 blocked shots, 25 PIM and a plus-7 rating through 52 appearances this season.

  • Jets' Alex Iafallo: Puts up pair of assists

Iafallo logged two assists, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Lightning.

Iafallo was on the top line Thursday, helping out on goals by Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor. With four points over his last four outings, Iafallo continues to chip in decent depth offense. The 32-year-old forward is up to 24 points, 81 shots on net, 86 hits and 41 blocked shots through 61 appearances in a versatile role this season.

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Nets goal in win

Barron scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Lightning.

Barron's tally opened the scoring at 15:31 of the second period. This was his second goal in three games in March after he didn't score in January or February. The 27-year-old forward is up to nine goals, 19 points, 80 shots on net, 111 hits and a plus-7 rating over 52 appearances. He's reached the 20-point mark just once in his career, but he should be able to surpass the 21-point total he had in 2022-23 as long as he doesn't go cold down the stretch.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Sixth in league scoring

Scheifele had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win over the Lightning on Thursday.

His goal stood as the winner. Scheifele fired a one-timer from below the left dot that beat Andrei Vasilevskiy with just 18 seconds left in the first. Scheifele sits in a tie with Kirill Kaprizov for sixth in the NHL in scoring with 75 points. He has fired 130 shots.

  • Jets' Kyle Connor: Generates 12 points in last 10 games

Connor had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win over the Lightning on Thursday.

Connor scored into the empty net, but they all count the same. He has three points (one goal, two assists) in his last two games, and he scored 12 points, including five goals, in his last 10 games. He has been held off the scoresheet just once in that span. Connor sits 13th in the NHL with 70 points (28 goals, 42 assists) in 61 games. He also has 202 shots this season.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Undefeated in regulation in four

Hellebuyck made 26 saves in a 4-1 win over Tampa Bay on Thursday.

Hellebuyck is undefeated in regulation (2-0-2) since his gold-medal domination at the 2026 Olympics. But the Jets have already started to strip off parts, especially with Luke Schenn and Logan Stanley headed out of town. Hellebuyck will suffer a bit with those two pillars on D headed out of town.

  • Jets' Gustav Nyquist: Finally gets first goal of season

Nyquist scored a goal Thursday in a 4-1 win over Tampa Bay.

It's Nyquist's first goal of the season and first as a Jet. It came in his 40th game this season. His time as a source of secondary scoring seems to be over. Nyquist has just 10 points this season after putting up 28 in 81 games last year. It's easy to forget his career-best 75 points in 2023-24.

  • Jets' Isak Rosen: Getting new opportunity

Rosen, Jacob Bryson, a second-round pick and a fourth-round pick were traded to the Jets from the Sabres on Thursday in exchange for Logan Stanley and Luke Schenn, Murat Ates of The Athletic reports.

Rosen has dominated the AHL this season with 25 goals and 18 assists over 37 contests. He also has seven points in 16 NHL contests for the Sabres, but he was unable to carve out a steady role in Buffalo amid the team's all-around success this season. While the Jets haven't officially announced where Rosen will begin his tenure in their organization, it seems likely he will get an NHL look at some time between now and the end of the regular season. The 22-year-old should be on the radar in fantasy, as he could get a big opportunity once he's on the NHL roster.

  • Jets' Jacob Bryson: Flipped in trade

Bryson, Isak Rosen, a second-round pick and a fourth-round pick were traded to the Jets from the Sabres on Thursday in exchange for Logan Stanley and Luke Schenn, Murat Ates of The Athletic reports.

Bryson will help replenish the Jets' defensive depth after they flipped two blueliners in this deal. In 35 appearances this season, Bryson has five points and 20 blocked shots. He has a total of six goals and 42 assists over 289 contests in parts of six seasons with the Sabres in his career, so he isn't likely to do much with the Jets.

  • Jets' Isaak Phillips: Up from AHL

Phillips was called up by Winnipeg on Thursday.

Phillips has five goals and 19 points in 44 appearances with AHL Manitoba in 2025-26. He's also played two outings with Winnipeg in 2025-26, recording no points, two PIM, three shots, one hit and one block over those appearances.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Set to start Thursday

Hellebuyck went through his starting routine during Thursday's morning skate, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports, indicating that he's slated to start at home against the Lightning.

Hellebuyck got the night off during the Jets' first game following the Olympic break, but he'll draw a fourth consecutive start Thursday. Across his last three outings -- all of which have gone to overtime -- he's gone 1-0-2 with a 2.89 GAA and .902 save percentage. He made a road start against Tampa Bay on Jan. 29 and allowed three goals on 36 shots (.917 save percentage) in a 4-1 loss.

  • Jets' Cole Perfetti: Nets equalizer Tuesday

Perfetti scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blackhawks.

Perfetti tied the game with just 39 seconds left in regulation, setting the stage for Mark Scheifele to be the hero in overtime. With four goals and three assists over his last seven outings, Perfetti has gotten his season back on track. He's now at 22 points, 96 shots on net, 35 hits and a minus-4 rating over 46 appearances, but his recent production suggests he is back to performing like a top-six forward again.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Three points in OT win

Scheifele scored a goal, added two assists and recorded six shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blackhawks.

Scheifele cracked the scoresheet after going pointless in the Jets' last two contests, and he also snapped a five-game goalless skid when he netted the game-winner at the 2:06 mark in overtime. Scheifele has 28 goals and 45 assists on the season, giving him 73 points across 60 appearances.
