Blue Jackets' Charlie Coyle: Buries game-winner Tuesday
Coyle scored a goal on six shots, added two hits, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Predators.
Coyle was right in the mix at the net front on multiple scoring plays. In the end, he came away with just one goal, but it was the game-winner at 6:07 of the third period, snapping his six-game goal drought. During that span, he still had six assists, and he's earned six goals and 10 helpers across his last 10 outings. Coyle is up to 16 goals, 46 points, 108 shots on net, 81 hits, 40 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over 60 appearances, offering plenty of all-around upside even in a third-line role.

Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Extends goal streak Tuesday
Fantilli scored a goal in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Predators.
Fantilli has scored in four straight contests while earning four goals and three assists during a five-game streak. The 21-year-old center continues to show growth in his third NHL campaign. He's up to 17 goals, 42 points, 157 shots on net, 99 hits, 40 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating over 60 appearances. He's on pace to top the 54-point campaign he had in all 82 games a year ago, and his recent play suggests he is poised to finish strong.

Blue Jackets' Sean Monahan: Shortie in second straight
Monahan scored a shorthanded goal in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Predators.
The tally tied the game at 2-2 early in the second period, as Monahan's toe-drag let enough traffic build up in front of Justus Annunen that he was able to pinball a shot home. Monahan has two shorties on the season, and they've come in the last two games as he begins to regain something close to his 2024-25 form. Over the last 12 contests, the veteran center has scored six of his 12 goals on the season.

Blue Jackets' Elvis Merzlikins: Needed briefly in relief Tuesday
Merzlikins turned aside both shots he faced during a brief relief appearance in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Predators.
Jet Greaves left the game midway through the first period to get checked for a concussion and missed a little over eight minutes, with Merzlikins holding down the fort in the meantime. Both netminders have put up impressive numbers lately, as they work in a timeshare. Over his last nine outings, Merzlikins has gone 6-2-0 with a 2.39 GAA and .911 save percentage.

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Stays hot in win over Preds
Greaves stopped 21 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Nashville.
The 24-year-old netminder missed a chunk of the first period to get checked for a concussion after taking an elbow from Nick Blankenburg. However, Greaves received clearance to return and kept the visitors off the scoreboard in the third to help the Blue Jackets rally from a 2-1 deficit. He hasn't taken a regulation loss since Jan. 8, going 7-0-1 over his last nine outings with a 2.34 GAA and .915 save percentage. Greaves and Elvis Merzlikins have been sharing time in the Columbus crease, but those plans could change if the team decides to ride the hot hand.

Blue Jackets' Boone Jenner: Dealing with lower-body injury
Jenner missed Tuesday's game versus the Predators due to a lower-body injury, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.
Jenner's injury wasn't revealed before the game. The 32-year-old is considered day-to-day with the issue, which suggests it won't be a long-term concern for him. Kent Johnson replaced him in the lineup, but someone else could exit once Jenner is cleared to play again.

Blue Jackets' Boone Jenner: Absent from Tuesday's lineup
Jenner (undisclosed) will miss Tuesday's clash against the Predators.
The team described his absence as being for maintenance and said that he's day-to-day. The captain has compiled eight goals, 19 assists, 94 shots on net, 98 hits and 45 blocked shots across 45 games this season. His status will be closely monitored ahead of the team's matchup against Florida on Thursday.

Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Unavailable Tuesday
Werenski (illness) won't play against Nashville on Tuesday, according to Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site.
Werenski will miss his second straight game and will remain day-to-day ahead of Thursday's matchup against Florida. He has amassed 20 goals, 65 points, 195 shots on net and 68 blocked shots across 54 appearances this season.

Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Game-time call Tuesday
Werenski (illness) was deemed a game-time decision ahead of Tuesday's clash against Nashville, per Aaron Portzline of The Athletic.
Head coach Rick Bowness stated that Werenski will take warmups before it's decided whether or not he will play Tuesday. The 28-year-old blueliner missed the Blue Jackets' game Monday due to the same illness. The fact that Werenski is taking warmups is a step in the right direction for his return, regardless of whether he suits up for Tuesday's contest. If the Norris Trophy candidate can't go Tuesday, he'll have a full day of rest before Columbus plays host to Florida on Thursday.

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Patrolling crease Tuesday
Greaves will be in goal at home versus the Predators on Tuesday, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.
Greaves will look to bounce back from a disappointing last outing in which he gave up four goals on 26 shots (.846 save percentage) in a loss to the Islanders on Saturday. The 24-year-old netminder has been splitting the workload with Elvis Merzlikins, a trend that will likely continue down the stretch.

Blue Jackets' Mathieu Olivier: Tallies in Monday's win
Olivier scored a goal on two shots, added three hits and blocked two shots in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over the Rangers.
Olivier has five goals and two assists over his last eight contests, though this was his first goal since the Olympic break. Expect offense to come in inconsistent bursts for the 29-year-old winger, who doesn't see power-play time. Olivier is at nine goals, 18 points, 63 shots on net, 167 hits, 62 PIM and a plus-9 rating across 46 appearances this season, mainly in a third-line role.

Blue Jackets' Sean Monahan: Buries shorthanded goal
Monahan scored a shorthanded goal on three shots in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over the Rangers.
Monahan picked up his first point in three games since the Olympic break. The 31-year-old center hadn't scored a shorthanded goal since the 2023-24 campaign with the Canadiens, though he had three helpers on the penalty kill last year. Monahan has been limited to 11 goals, 28 points, 92 shots on net and a plus-1 rating over 55 appearances this season, cutting his production in half compared to his 57-point effort over 54 outings a year ago.

Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Scores again Monday
Fantilli scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over the Rangers.
Fantilli's assist was added after a late scoring change, giving him credit for the secondary helper on Kirill Marchenko's goal in overtime. That puts him at 41 points in 59 outings this season, including five over three contests since the Olympic break. Fantilli has taken on a top-line role and looks up to the task as he continues to gain experience in his third NHL campaign. He's added 156 shots on net, 98 hits, 39 blocked shots, 21 PIM and a minus-10 rating this season.

Blue Jackets' Damon Severson: Two-point effort in OT win
Severson picked up two assists in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over the Rangers.
After helping to set up a Mathieu Olivier tally in the second period, Severson started a breakout in OT that was capped by Kirill Marchenko's game-winner. It was the veteran blueliner's first multi-point performance since Jan. 3, and on the season, Severson has four goals, 23 points, 74 blocked shots, 74 shots on net, 36 hits, 30 PIM and a plus-8 rating in 58 games.

Blue Jackets' Charlie Coyle: Two helpers Monday
Coyle notched two assists, one on the power play, in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over the Rangers.
The veteran center had a hand in tallies by Kirill Marchenko in the first period and Mathieu Olivier in the second. Coyle has been on fire since late January, and the Olympic break did nothing to cool him down -- over the last nine games, he's produced five multi-point performances and piled up five goals and 15 points in total.

Blue Jackets' Kirill Marchenko: Plays OT hero in three-point night
Marchenko scored two goals, one on the power play and the other the overtime winner, and added an even-strength assist in Monday's 5-4 victory over the Rangers.
After picking up two points in the first period, Marchenko ended the night by beating Igor Shesterkin on the short side just over a minute into the extra frame. The 25-year-old winger is up to 50 points (22 goals, 28 assists) on the season in only 53 games as he surges toward a career-best campaign, and it's possible he could find another gear down the stretch if Columbus' special teams improve -- Marchenko's power-play goal was his first since Dec. 22, and just his fourth of 2025-26.

Blue Jackets' Elvis Merzlikins: Nearly squanders lead Monday
Merzlikins made 29 saves in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over the Rangers.
The Blue Jackets seemed to have the game well in hand when they took a 4-0 lead into the second intermission, but Merzlikins not only lost his shutout just 30 seconds into the third frame, he nearly lost the game entirely as the Rangers fired 17 shots his way as part of a furious comeback effort. Kirill Marchenko was able to beat Igor Shesterkin in OT to salvage the win for the visitors, however. Merzlikins has won four of his last five as he maintains a timeshare with Jet Greaves, posting a 2.40 GAA and .906 save percentage over that stretch.
