Flames' Ilya Solovyov: Reassigned Saturday
Solovyov was reassigned to AHL Calgary on Saturday.
Solovyov was up with the big club to cover for the absence of Joel Hanley (personal) for Saturday's contest. It's unclear if the 24-year-old Solovyov will get another look following the 4 Nations Face-Off break.

Flames' Adam Klapka: Sent down after game
Klapka was reassigned to AHL Calgary on Saturday.
Klapka was a healthy scratch for Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Kraken. The 24-year-old has one goal and 42 hits over 12 NHL appearances this season. If he is recalled again, it'll likely be to fill a fourth-line role.

Flames' Joel Hanley: Unavailable Saturday
Hanley (personal) will miss Saturday's game against Seattle to be with his wife for the birth of their child, Wes Gilbertson of the Calgary Sun reports.
Hanley has three assists, 24 hits and 45 blocked shots across 27 games this season. He will probably return to the lineup against San Jose on Feb. 23 after the 4 Nations Face-Off. Ilya Solovyov will enter the lineup to replace Hanley on Saturday.

Flames' Dustin Wolf: In goal against Kraken
Wolf will patrol the home crease versus Seattle on Saturday, according to Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
Wolf has lost his last three starts, allowing 11 goals on 87 shots (.874 save percentage). The rookie has been outstanding this season, going 19-11-2 with a pair of shutouts, a 2.63 GAA and a .913 save percentage. He is in the conversation for the Calder Trophy, along with Macklin Celebrini and Lane Hutson. The Kraken are generating 2.95 goals per game, 15th in the NHL this season.

Flames' Martin Pospisil: Posts assist in loss
Pospisil notched an assist, four shots on goal and six hits in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.
Pospisil has three helpers and 26 hits over his last five contests. The 25-year-old continues to see middle-six usage, adding plenty of physicality and a little depth offense. For the season, he has three goals, 15 helpers, 75 shots on net, 192 hits, 72 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 54 appearances. He's also avoided suspensions so far in 2024-25 -- he had one in March of last season, but he can be a solid fantasy option in formats that reward his heavy play as long as he doesn't cross the line.

Flames' MacKenzie Weegar: Helps out on power play
Weegar posted a power-play assist, three shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.
Weegar has five helpers, including four on the power play, over four outings in February. He had all of six points in January, so he's picked up the pace recently. The 31-year-old blueliner is up to 30 points (14 on the power play), 118 shots on net, 144 hits, 116 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating through 54 contests overall. Weegar's all-around play remains strong, and there's virtually no chance he slips out of a top-four role.

Flames' Matthew Coronato: Nabs power-play assist Thursday
Coronato earned a power-play assist, blocked two shots and went minus-2 in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.
Coronato has three goals and three helpers over his last five games. He's earned three of those six points with the man advantage. The 22-year-old winger continues to show a steady scoring touch while growing into a top-six role over the course of 2024-25. He's up to 30 points (12 on the power play), 116 shots on net and a plus-6 rating over 49 outings this season.

Flames' Nazem Kadri: Pockets another assist
Kadri logged an assist and four shots on goal in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.
Kadri helped out on a Rasmus Andersson tally in the third period. Kadri has opened February on a four-game point streak (one goal, four assists), and this was his first even-strength contribution in that span. The 34-year-old center has just two streaks of at least that many contests -- his other one was a five-game run from Dec. 8-17. For the season, he's at 18 goals, 21 helpers, 180 shots on net, 57 PIM, 36 hits and a minus-16 rating over 54 appearances in a top-line role.

Flames' Rasmus Andersson: Tallies in Thursday's loss
Andersson scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.
Andersson's goal came late in the third period -- too late to make a difference in the result. He has three points over his last eight outings, but offense has been hard to come by on one of the lower-scoring teams in the league. For the season, the 28-year-old defenseman is at eight goals, 21 points, 108 shots on net, 127 blocked shots, 48 PIM and a minus-15 rating over 54 appearances.

Flames' Jonathan Huberdeau: Puts away power-play goal
Huberdeau scored a power-play goal on five shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.
Huberdeau scored just 3:22 into the contest. He's started February well with two goals and two assists over four games, with three of those four points coming on the power play. Huberdeau also saw 24:44 of ice time Thursday, his second-highest total in a game this season. The winger is up to 21 goals, 40 points (14 on the power play), 102 shots on net, 45 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating through 54 appearances, emerging as a fixture on the top line.

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Second-period struggles in loss
Wolf allowed four goals on 34 shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.
A poor second period cost the Flames this game after they led 1-0 through 20 minutes. Wolf allowed three goals in the frame and ended up with his fourth loss in his last six outings, a span in which he's surrendered 19 goals. The 23-year-old dropped to 19-11-2 with a 2.63 GAA and a .913 save percentage through 32 contests. The upcoming break for the 4 Nations Face-Off may benefit Wolf by giving him some rest. The Flames play once more before the break when they host the Kraken on Saturday. Dan Vladar has typically played well versus Seattle and may draw the start given Wolf's recent struggles.

Flames' Dryden Hunt: Joining NHL club
Hunt was recalled from AHL Calgary on Thursday.
Hunt will trade places with Clark Bishop, who was demoted to the minors in a corresponding move. Even with the 29-year-old Hunt moving up to the NHL roster, he is far from a lock to play in Thursday's matchup with Colorado and will need to edge out Kevin Rooney or Adam Klapka.

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Between pipes Thursday
Wolf will guard the home net versus Colorado on Thursday, according to Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
Wolf is 1-3-0 in his last four starts, allowing 11 goals on 107 shots (.897 save percentage). Overall, the 23-year-old has sparkled this season, going 19-10-2 with a pair of shutouts, a 2.58 GAA and a .914 save percentage across 31 starts. The Avalanche are generating 3.20 goals per game, ninth in the league this season.

Flames' Ilya Solovyov: Called up from minors
Solovyov was recalled from AHL Calgary on Wednesday.
Solovyov has yet to get into a game this season, spending the entirety of the campaign with the Wranglers. Over 41 minor-league outings, the 2020 seventh-round pick has generated six goals and 15 assists, setting a new personal best in both goals and points. Solovyov will likely serve as a depth option for Thursday's matchup with Colorado unless there is another injury on the Flames' blue line.
