Rangers' Matt Rempe: Traveling to Chicago
Rempe (upper body) will travel with the team for Wednesday's game in Chicago and participate in the morning skate, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports Tuesday.
Rempe has missed 22 straight games, as he hasn't been in the lineup since getting injured against the Sharks on Oct. 23. It's unlikely he'll suit up for Wednesday's contest, but he seems to be trending in the right direction ahead of the Rangers' upcoming three-game homestand, which begins Saturday against Montreal.

Rangers' Adam Edstrom: Not traveling with the team
Edstrom (lower body) will not join the Rangers for their trip to Chicago on Wednesday, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports.
Edstrom will be sidelined for his fifth consecutive contest due to his lower-body issue. Even when healthy, the 25-year-old center is far from a lock to make the lineup on a nightly basis and could find himself serving as a healthy scratch periodically. In his 24 outings, the Swede has generated just four points while dishing out 48 hits.

Rangers' Alexis Lafreniere: Puts up pair of points
Lafreniere scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist and blocked two shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.
Lafreniere and Mika Zibanejad set up each other's goals in the second period. The 24-year-old Lafreniere now has three points over his last two outings, and Sunday's multi-point effort was his first such game since Nov. 10 versus the Predators. For the season, Lafreniere has seven goals, 17 points, 61 shots on net, 55 hits, 18 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating through 31 appearances. He should continue to fill a top-six role.

Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Pair of points in overtime loss
Zibanejad scored a goal on four shots, dished an assist and added four hits in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.
Zibanejad continued his recent surge, which sees him riding a seven-game point streak. He has four goals and five assists in that span. The consistency is a big improvement over last year for the 32-year-old center. Zibanejad now has 11 goals, 24 points, 94 shots on net, 47 hits, 20 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating across 31 appearances.

Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Falls in overtime
Quick stopped 26 of 29 shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.
Quick returned from missing the previous six games due to a lower-body injury sustained versus the Mammoth on Nov. 22. He was dressed as the backup Saturday versus the Avalanche but didn't play. Quick is now 3-3-1 on the year with a 1.86 GAA and a .937 save percentage through seven starts. He doesn't get a lot of playing time behind Igor Shesterkin, but Quick is worth consideration as a streaming option whenever the Rangers have a back-to-back set. Their next such set is Dec. 15 and 16, with home games versus the high-scoring Ducks and lowly Canucks, making Quick a great target should he face the Canucks.

Rangers' Adam Edstrom: Remains out of lineup
Edstrom (lower body) won't be an option for Sunday's home contest versus the Golden Knights, per Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic.
Edstrom will remain sidelined for the fourth straight game Sunday, as he hasn't been in the lineup since Nov. 29 against the Lightning. The 25-year-old will have a few days to get ready for New York's next game, which will be in Chicago on Wednesday.

Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Drawing home start
Quick will the defend the home net Sunday versus the Golden Knights, per Mollie Walker of the New York Post.
Quick was activated from injured reserve Saturday and will make his first start since Nov. 22 in Utah after contending with a lower-body injury. The veteran netminder has lost his last two outings, but he's been a solid No. 2 option this year, as he's posted a 3-3-0 record, 1.69 GAA and .944 save percentage over six appearances. The Golden Knights have won three consecutive games and are coming off a 3-0 win in New Jersey on Friday.

Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Three-game, five-point streak
Panarin scored a goal in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Avalanche.
Panarin scored on a one-timer from the left point through traffic with just 42 seconds left to force overtime. It was his 10th goal of the season. Panarin is on a three-game point streak while posting two goals, three assists and 13 shots. He has 31 points, including 21 assists, in 30 games this season. While his scoring rates are lower than in previous seasons, he has 11 points (four goals, seven assists) in his last six games. He's on an upturn.

Rangers' Conor Sheary: First goal of season
Sheary scored a goal Saturday in a 3-2 overtime loss to Colorado.
It was Sheary's first goal and seventh point of the season in his 27th game. It was a goal scorer's goal, as he cut across the offensive zone and ripped a shot over Mackenzie Blackwood's glove on the far side. The winger has never been able to recapture the glory of his sophomore year in 2016-17 when he put up 23 goals and 53 points in 61 regular-season appearances with Pittsburgh.

Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Spectacular in loss to Avs
Shesterkin made 39 saves Saturday in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Avalanche.
He was sharp throughout, but Nathan MacKinnon scored in regulation and overtime. Still, Shesterkin put on a clinic and robbed the Avalanche superstar a few times in the contest. Shesterkin has started seven straight games because Jonathan Quick (lower body) was on IR, and he went 5-1-1 in that span. However, Shesterkin can use some rest. Quick dressed Saturday as the backup, and will probably play in Sunday's home matchup against Vegas. Shesterkin is 12-9-3 with a 2.46 GAA and a .913 save percentage this campaign.

Rangers' Raoul Boilard: One of each in win
Boilard scored a goal and added an assist in QMJHL Shawinigan's 5-1 win over Sherbrooke on Saturday.
Boilard went all of November without scoring a goal, posting six assists over 11 games for the Cataractes. He's up to three points through two contests in December. Overall, he's produced six goals and 21 points over 24 appearances this season, producing at a similar pace as he did with Baie-Comeau last year.

Rangers' Brandon Scanlin: On waivers
Scanlin (lower body) is off injured non-roster and put on waivers Saturday, per Keegan Jarvis of Blueshirt Banter.
Scanlin had been rehabbing with AHL Hartford after suffering the injury during the Rangers' training camp. Assuming he clears waivers, the 26-year-old will be able to make his AHL season debut. He had eight goals and 14 points in 66 regular-season appearances with Hartford in 2024-25.

Rangers' Adam Edstrom: Won't play Saturday
Edstrom (lower body) won't play against Colorado on Saturday, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
Edstrom is still day-to-day and will miss his third straight game. He has contributed two goals, four points, 21 shots on net, 13 blocked shots and 48 hits across 24 appearances this season. Due to Edstrom's absence, Conor Sheary has been filling in on the fourth line, but Brennan Othmann is also available to play if needed.

Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Starting Saturday
Shesterkin will be between the home pipes versus Colorado on Saturday, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
Shesterkin will make his seventh straight start, as he is 5-1-0 with a 2.18 GAA and a .922 save percentage since Nov. 24. Overall, the 29-year-old Russian is 12-9-2 with a 2.43 GAA and a .912 save percentage across 23 appearances this season.
