  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Set to face Jets

Soderblom is slated to play in Saturday's road game against Winnipeg, according to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Soderblom has a 2-7-0 record, 3.78 GAA and .882 save percentage in 10 contests this season. He allowed four goals on 28 shots in a 4-2 loss to St. Louis in his last start Sunday. Winnipeg ranks 14th offensively this year with 3.27 goals per game.

  • Blackhawks' Seth Jones: Three shots in loss

Jones recorded three shots on goal and one blocked shot in Thursday's 5-1 loss to Detroit.

The 29-year-old hasn't done much this year considering his hefty salary ($5 million). In his past 12 games, Jones has four assists and 28 shots on goal. He has yet to put a shot in the back of the net but, his defensive play has been good recording 13 hits and 26 blocked shots.

  • Blackhawks' Wyatt Kaiser: One shot in loss

Kaiser recorded one shot on goal in Thursday's 5-1 loss to Detroit.

The 21-year-old has emerged as some needed depth at defense for the Blackhawks. In his past 13 games, Kaiser has recorded three assists and six shots on goal. His defensive play has also been stellar providing 15 blocked shots and nine hits. He will continue to play with newcomer Isaak Phillips on the third defensive pairing.

  • Blackhawks' Anthony Beauvillier: Joins Blackhawks' practice

Beauvillier, who couldn't play in Thursday's 5-1 loss to Detroit because of visa issues, has joined the Blackhawks in Winnipeg and participated in Friday's practice, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Chicago acquired Beauvillier from Vancouver on Tuesday. He practiced on the top line with Connor Bedard and Philipp Kurashev on Friday, so that will likely be his role if he's available to make his Blackhawks debut Saturday against the Jets. It's a huge opportunity for Beauvillier, who had two goals and six points in 22 games while averaging just 13:39 of ice time with the Canucks before the trade.

  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Falls to former club

Mrazek stopped 24 shots in Thursday's 5-1 loss to the Red Wings.

Special teams were the difference in this one, as two of Detroit's goals came on power plays while a third was scored shorthanded. It's Mrazek's fourth regulation loss in his last five outings, and the 31-year-old netminder hasn't allowed fewer than three goals in a start since Nov. 4, posting a shaky 3.71 GAA and .884 save percentage on the month. Arvid Soderblom isn't playing any better, however, so the duo will likely continue to split the workload in the crease for a rebuilding Chicago squad.

  • Blackhawks' Cole Guttman: Out Thursday

Guttman (upper body) isn't expected to play Thursday versus Detroit, according to Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago.

Guttman is set to miss his second straight game due to the injury. He has a goal and five blocked shots in five top-level contests this season. When Guttman's ready to return, it will likely be as a member of the fourth line.

He picked up two goals and eight points in 22 outings with Vancouver before being dealt to Chicago. Beauvillier was averaging just 13:39 of ice time before the trade but should see increased responsibilities in Chicago.

Mrazek allowed three goals on 36 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 victory against the Kraken.

Mrazek allowed a shorthanded marker late in the second period in a little bit of a lack of focus, and the game was tied 2-2 after 20 minutes. However, Tyler Johnson and Mackenzie Entwistle bailed him out with a pair of second-period goals, and Chicago never looked back. The victory was his first since Nov. 9 in Tampa Bay and ended Mrazek's three-game personal losing streak.

He added a plus-2 rating with two shots on goal, a hit and he won each of his two faceoff opportunities in exactly 13:00 of ice time across 14 shifts. After scoring a goal in the opener Oct. 10, Dickinson posted just a single goal in a 15-game span from Oct. 11-Nov. 9. However, he has picked up the pace dramatically, going for five goals over the past four outings with a plus-4 rating.
