Player Outlook
Moore was traded from the Jets to the Browns this offseason, and he gets a fresh start that will hopefully revive his Fantasy value. He's worth drafting as early as Round 8 in all leagues. Moore had a standout rookie season in 2021 when he averaged 12.5 PPR points per game, but he struggled as a sophomore at 5.4 PPR points per game. The Jets coaching staff seemed frustrated with Moore, and he never got on track with poor quarterback play. In Cleveland, he gets to play with Deshaun Watson, and Moore should be the No. 2 receiver opposite Amari Cooper. There's competition for targets for Moore with Cooper, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Cedric Tillman and David Njoku, but Watson should find that Moore is a reliable weapon. He should have the chance to play closer to his rookie campaign than he did last year, and Moore moving to Cleveland should be a great situation.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Week 13 Waiver Priority List

Keep an eye on Amari Cooper's rib injury, and his status, as well as the quarterback situation in Cleveland, could sway how you feel about Moore. If Cooper is out in Week 13 at the Rams, then Moore could be a standout No. 3 Fantasy receiver, especially if Joe Flacco starts for the injured Dorian Thompson-Robinson (concussion). Moore has 23 targets in his past three games, and he scored at least 12 PPR points in two of them. He's worth adding in all leagues for up to 5 percent of your FAB.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Does little with targets Sunday

Moore caught three of nine targets for 44 yards in Sunday's 29-12 loss to the Broncos. He tied tight end David Njoku for the lead in targets among Browns players, but Moore finished only fourth in catches and third in receiving yards. The former Jet has yet to top 60 receiving yards in a game for his new squad and has only one TD in 11 contests, and Cleveland's uncertain QB situation -- rookie starter Dorian Thompson-Robinson (concussion) was replaced by PJ Walker in the third quarter -- leaves Moore with little fantasy appeal heading into a Week 13 clash with the Rams.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Week 12 Waiver Priority List

Moore has two good games in a row against the Ravens and Steelers with at least 12 PPR points in each outing. Against Pittsburgh in Week 11, Moore had six catches for 60 yards on seven targets, and he seemed to have a solid rapport with Dorian Thompson-Robinson. We'll see if Moore can continue playing at this level heading into Week 12 at Denver, but he's worth adding in deeper leagues to find out for 1 percent of your FAB. It's hard to trust this Browns' passing attack right now, but Moore might be a nice surprise if he continues to play at this level.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Opens game-winning drive

Moore caught six of seven targets for 60 yards in Sunday's 13-10 win over Pittsburgh. In a defensive affair, Moore led all pass catchers from either side with a season-high 60 receiving yards, including a 15-yard grab from rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson that kicked off the drive that led to the game-winning field goal. Sunday's game plan in the absence of Deshaun Watson (shoulder) called for a lot of short passes, which benefited Moore out of the slot, and the usual reliance on the running backs. As DTR grows more comfortable under center, perhaps head coach Kevin Stefanski will open up the playbook. Cleveland added Joe Flacco to its practice squad this week, and his experienced arm could be a factor later in the season if the rookie falters.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Week 12 Early Waiver Targets (Add/Drop)

It's been another disappointing season for Moore, who is running third in targets on a pretty poor passing offense. That's likely to continue moving forward, but we are seeing signs of him figuring things out lately, with five catches for 44 yards and a touchdown last week and now six for 60 Sunday. That came in a game where Cleveland threw the ball 43 times, so it's less impressive than it might seem initially, but Moore is a talented player, and if you've got a roster spot to play with, see if he can build on this in Week 12 against the Broncos.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Week 11 Waiver Priority List

Moore scored his first touchdown with the Browns this season in Week 10 at Baltimore and also added five catches for 44 yards on seven targets. Maybe Moore is about to get going again with Deshaun Watson rounding back into form. Remember, in the first three games of the season with Watson, Moore had at least seven targets in each outing, including a nine-catch performance against Tennessee in Week 3. It's worth adding Moore for 1 percent of your FAB to see what develops over the next several weeks.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: First touchdown with Browns

Moore recorded five receptions on seven targets for 44 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-31 win over the Ravens. Moore has at least seven targets in six of nine games this season, yet he has topped 50 yards just once. However, he recorded his highest reception total since Week 3 and also managed his first touchdown of the campaign on a 10-yard catch midway through the fourth quarter amid the Browns' dramatic comeback. While Moore has one of the more predictable roles in the Browns offense, he has proven to have very little upside.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Adds punt return duties

Moore caught two of five targets for 30 yards and returned two punts for 23 yards in Sunday's 24-20 loss to Seattle. The hybrid role Cleveland's coaches envisioned for Moore on offense has not panned out, so he was given a chance to impact the game as a punt returner for the first time this season. While he's sitting on zero touchdowns and 36.6 receiving yards per game, Moore remains a big piece on offense and is second on team with 48 targets.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Cracks 50-yard mark in win

Moore caught four of seven targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 39-38 win over the Colts in Week 7. Moore, who entered the game with 20 combined yards the last two weeks, rebounded to lead the Browns in receiving yards Sunday. He's been a disappointment thus far, but so has Cleveland's passing game as a whole. Some of that is due to quarterback Deshaun Watson's gimpy shoulder, which cost him two games and knocked him out in the first quarter Sunday after being brought down by Colts defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo. However, a healthy Watson was an uneven performer, and that's impacted the receivers' production. The Browns have fewer than 200 yards passing in four of six games.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Seven targets in Week 6 win

Moore caught four of seven targets for 19 yards and rushed once for eight yards in Sunday's 19-17 win over San Francisco. It was expected to be a quiet day for the Browns' wide receivers with PJ Walker under center in place of Deshaun Watson (shoulder), and other than big numbers from Amari Cooper (108 yards), that largely held true. Moore's seven targets were second behind Cooper and his 19 yards were fourth. Cleveland coaches envisioned the former Jet as a multi-position weapon during training camp, but that's only showed itself in Moore's target and touch volume. He's second on the team with 36 targets and third at 29 touches (including eight rush attempts), but he has yet score a touchdown and is averaging just 35.6 combined yards per contest.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Zero net yards in loss

Moore caught two of four targets for 20 yards and ran once for minus-20 yards in Sunday's 28-3 loss to Baltimore. The five targets and touches were season lows for Moore, who clearly missed starting quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder). All the team's skill players did, as Cleveland produced just 214 yards of offense with rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson under center. With a bye week on tap in Week 5, Watson gets extended time to heal, and head coach Kevin Stefanski time to fix a broken offense.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

There's a chance for Amari Cooper and Moore to both be successful in this matchup with the Ravens. Baltimore has already allowed six receivers to score at least 11.2 PPR points this season, including a pair of wideouts in each game against Houston, Cincinnati and Indianapolis. And it feels like a big game is coming for Moore, who has at least seven targets in each outing this year and 18 targets over his past two contests against the Steelers and Titans. He caught all nine of his targets against Tennessee but finished with just 49 yards and lost a fumble, but we love all these chances Deshaun Watson is giving Moore. I like him as a No. 3 receiver in PPR for Week 4.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Week 4 Adds (WR Preview)

Moore's roster rate is going the other direction, but I've been pleased with his involvement in the passing game and believe a big game is coming. If the Ravens secondary doesn't get healthy, this may be the week. Moore is actually tied with Amari Cooper for the team lead in target share at 25%.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Catches all nine targets

Moore recorded nine receptions on nine targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 27-3 win over the Titans. The Browns seemed to prioritize getting Moore involved, as he was targeted three times on the opening drive and was also given a carry. He went on to do most of his damage in the first half, which largely had to do with game script, as the Browns attempted only 13 passes in the final two quarters. Moore now has 25 targets across three games, though that's resulted in only 128 yards.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Garners 41 total yards in loss

Moore brought in three of nine targets for 36 yards and rushed once for five yards in the Browns' 26-22 loss to the Steelers on Monday night. Moore and Deshaun Watson couldn't connect very often, but it's at least encouraging the quarterback showered the speedy receiver with the second-most targets on the night. Moore has posted a 6-79-0 line on 16 targets through two games, so if he and Watson can begin to connect more consistently, the third-year pro is certainly capable of producing fantasy-friendly lines given his playmaking ability.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Leading receiver in team debut

Moore caught three of seven targets for 43 yards and rushed twice for 19 yards in Sunday's 24-3 win over the Bengals. Making his Cleveland debut after being acquired from the Jets in an offseason trade, Moore led his new team in receiving yards while tying for the team lead in targets with Amari Cooper. Moore's speed complements Cooper's contested catch ability and Nick Chubb's physicality on the ground, so the new addition should continue to play a prominent role on Monday Night Football against the Steelers in Week 2.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Sleeper WRs

The first time we saw Moore in a Browns uniform in the preseason against Washington he lined up in the backfield, as well as a receiver. I love that coach Kevin Stefanski plans to move Moore around, and Stefanski said "we want to use the kid in a bunch of different ways." That starts this week against the Bengals, who have a revamped secondary, and Deshaun Watson will hopefully lean on Moore quite a bit. He's worth using as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver, and I'm also counting on Amari Cooper to play well this week. Remember, this is a home game for the Browns, and Cooper scored at least 13.2 PPR points in all but one game in Cleveland last year.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Week 1 Waiver Priority List

Moore is another one of my favorite sleepers this season, and I expect him to play a prominent role with the Browns. I would add him for at least 10 percent of your remaining FAB where available, and I love that Cleveland plans to use him in a variety of ways, especially as a weapon out of the backfield. Hopefully, we can see Moore play like he did as a rookie with the Jets when he averaged 12.6 PPR points per game in 2021.

  • Browns' Elijah Moore: Two short catches

Moore recorded two receptions on three targets for eight yards in Saturday's 33-32 preseason loss to the Chiefs. Recovered from a rib injury, Moore played with Deshaun Watson and the rest of Cleveland's first-team offense. He matched Amari Cooper in targets, though Moore was targeted in the short areas of the field while Cooper was targeted on deep attempts. Moore is likely to work primarily out of the slot this season and should be a favorite target of Watson in the short and intermediate areas of the field.
