Saints' Justin Hardee: Trending in right direction

The Saints designated Hardee (groin) for a return from injured reserve Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Hardee has resided on IR since Nov. 7 while dealing with the groin issue, but the team will now have 21 days to activate him. Hardee's absence doesn't affect things from a defensive perspective, but the Illinois product will provide a boost on special teams if he's officially activated.
