  • Texans' Andrew Beck: Plays Saturday

Beck (knee) played during Saturday's 28-3 preseason loss to the Dolphins. He did not catch his lone target. Beck, who hurt his knee during the first preseason game, was on the field for the team's second game Saturday. He was part of a goal-line package on the Texans' first drive and was targeted in the red zone, although quarterback C.J. Stroud was under immediate pressure, and it's uncertain if Beck was the primary read on the play. Both Beck and tight end Dalton Keene lined up as a blocking back on separate plays for Dameon Pierce at the goal line.

  • Texans' Andrew Beck: Hurts knee Thursday

Beck sustained a minor knee injury during Thursday's preseason game against New England, Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 Houston reports. He finished with one target in Houston's 20-9 win. Beck was seen limping following the game, but he was able to jog off the field immediately after the incident. "Beck will be fine," Ryans said. "He banged his knee up a little bit, but we'll get further tests. As of right now, looks like he'll be fine." Beck is expected to serve a hybrid role in offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik's offense, similar to how Kyle Juszczyk was used in San Francisco. He'll also have a role on special teams.

  • Broncos' Andrew Beck: Limited participant Wednesday

Beck (hamstring) practiced in a limited fashion Wednesday, Ellie Kinney of the Broncos' official site reports. Beck has been sidelined in four of Denver's past five games while dealing with a hamstring injury. The 26-year-old will now have two more opportunities to increase his activity before Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Beck has primarily played on special teams this season, and his main offensive contributions should come as a blocker out of the backfield when he's healthy moving forward.

While Broncos coach Nathanial Hackett previously said that he is hopeful the 26-year-old will be able to return Week 12, the tight end remained limited during each practice leading up to Sunday's contest versus Carolina. Beck caught three of his six targets over the first eight weeks of the season, and his biggest impact will likely come on special teams moving forward.

  • Broncos' Andrew Beck: Sitting out Week 10

Beck (hamstring) was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Titans, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. Beck popped up as a limited participant on Thursday's injury report, though it's unclear when this hamstring issue first arose. The 26-year-old has caught three passes (on six targets) for 59 yards over eight games this season, though his absence could have an effect on the Broncos' running game against Tennessee's stout defensive front. • Broncos' Andrew Beck: Snares seven-yard reception

Beck hauled in his lone target for a seven-yard gain while playing 15 of the Broncos' 55 snaps on offense Monday in a 19-16 overtime loss to the Chargers. Since gaining 52 yards on two receptions Week 1, Beck has actually seen his snap share on offense tick up a bit, but he has little production to show for it. While playing between 25 and 37 percent of Denver's snaps in Weeks 2 through 6, Beck has drawn just two targets.

  • Broncos' Andrew Beck: Viewed as a versatile weapon

Head coach Nathaniel Hackett views Beck as a "Swiss Army knife" for the Broncos' offense, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. Beck is currently third on the Broncos' tight end depth chart, but the veteran has the ability to play fullback as well. This versatility certainly helps his chances in making the final 53-man roster ahead of the 2022 campaign. With that said, Beck is behind both Albert Okwuegbunam and rookie Greg Dulcich in the tight end ranks, so it's likely his playing time at tight end will be minimal at best. It's important to note that Hackett brings the West Coast offense philosophy and zone-blocking scheme to Denver this season, in which the fullback plays a key role. Assuming both Okwuegbunam and Dulcich can stay healthy, Beck's best chance to see meaningful playing time will likely be at fullback. Nonetheless, the 6-foot-3, 255-pounder should struggle to gain fantasy relevance this season.
