    Skoronski could be moved to left tackle ahead of the 2024 season, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Skoronski played left guard in his rookie campaign with the Titans, but he may transition back to offensive tackle for his sophomore season. The 22-year-old was a three-year starter at left tackle with Northwestern before being selected 11th overall by Tennessee in the 2023 NFL Draft.

The rookie played five snaps in the Week 1 opener and has missed the last three games.     Head coach Mike Vrabel hopes to have Skoronski (appendix) back at practice this week, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports. Skoronski underwent an appendectomy after making his NFL debut Week 1 and has been sidelined by his recovery ever since. The rookie first-round selection's return would be good news for the Titans' offensive line, as the team was counting on him to be the starter at left guard right from the start of his career.

  • Titans' Peter Skoronski: Reinforces Tennessee's line

    The Titans selected Skoronski in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, 11th overall. Tennessee had been rumored to be in play to trade up for a quarterback but ultimately stood pat and addressed a major need. Mike Clay of ESPN.com rated the Tennessee offensive line as the worst in the NFL coming into the draft, and Skoronski will immediately help improve it. The Northwestern product was a three-year starter at left tackle in Evanston and earned unanimous All-American honors in 2022. At 6-foot-4 with short arms (32.25 in.), Skoronski will likely be better cast as a guard in the NFL.
