Titans' Nicholas Petit-Frere: Likely done for season
Petit-Frere will need surgery to repair a shoulder injury suffered in Thursday's loss to the Steelers, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports. Petit-Frere had started the team's last two games at left tackle, and although it's not official, he is expected to miss the remainder of the season. Titans' Nicholas Petit-Frere: Leaves game Thursday
Petit-Frere is questionable to return to Thursday's game against the Steelers after exiting twice with a shoulder injury, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. The 2022 third-round pick started 16 games as a rookie but missed the first four contests of 2023 while serving a suspension for violation of the league's gambling policy. Petit-Frere has played in three games and drawn one start thus far this season.... See More ... See Less -
Titans' Nicholas Petit-Frere: Will not play Sunday
Petit-Friere (non-injury) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 5 game against the Colts, Nick Suss of The Tennessean reports. Petit-Friere had his six-game gambling suspension reduced to four games, and he practiced fully all week before the Titans ruled him out Friday. Perhaps he's not yet in game shape after being away from the team for four weeks. The Titans plan to start Chris Hubbard at right tackle versus Indy. Andre Dillard is the left tackle.... See More ... Titans' Nicholas Petit-Frere: Handed down suspension
Petit-Frere received a six-game suspension Thursday for violating the NFL's gambling policy, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Petit-Frere did not bet on NFL contests, but he did bet on games from the team facility, which resulted in the suspension. The 23-year-old released a statement that he did not "knowingly break the rules" and was "unaware about the specifics around placing bets from a team facility." However, he'll be available to help the team during training camp and get himself prepared when he can return to the roster.... See More ... See Less
