  • Qadree Ollison: Gets let go

Ollison was cut from the Steelers' practice squad Monday. Ollison received two elevations to Pittsburgh's active roster early in the season but has otherwise been on the team's practice squad since Sept. 2. In a corresponding move, the Steelers are signing David Perales to their practice squad.

  • Qadree Ollison: On practice squad again

Ollison reverted to Pittsburgh's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. Ollison has been elevated to the active roster each of the past two weeks but has logged just one offensive snap. He's also tallied 10 special-teams snaps during the pair of contests. Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren have handled nearly all of the Steelers' backfield snaps this season, and the team signed Godwin Igwebuike Sept. 20, so Ollison may remain on the practice squad unless an injury necessitates another elevation.

  • Steelers' Qadree Ollison: Promoted to active roster

The Steelers elevated Ollison to their active roster Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Ollison was called up for the Steelers' Week 2 matchup against the Browns and played five snaps on special teams. He'll likely resume that role for Sunday's game against the Raiders.

  • Qadree Ollison: Back to practice squad

Ollison reverted to the Steelers' practice squad Tuesday. Ollison was elevated ahead of Monday's 26-22 win over the Browns, but he only played five snaps on special teams, failing to record a stat. The running back could join the active roster again in Week 3 versus the Raiders as Anthony McFarland (knee) will once again be unavailable.

  • Steelers' Qadree Ollison: Gets called up

Ollison was elevated from the Steelers' practice squad ahead of Monday's game against the Browns. Ollison will be tasked with handling the team's No. 3 running back role with Anthony McFarland (knee) being placed on IR. The 2019 fifth-round selection appeared in three games with the Cowboys last season and last carried the ball in 2021 while with the Falcons.

  • Qadree Ollison: Released by Jacksonville

The Jaguars released Ollison on Tuesday. Ollison spent the first three years of his career in Atlanta before playing for the Cowboys last year. He's had a minimal impact to begin his NFL career and was unable to land a spot on the Jaguars' 53-man roster ahead of the 2023 campaign. The 2019 fifth-rounder will now attempt to find an opportunity elsewhere.

  • Jaguars' Qadree Ollison: Joins Jacksonville

Ollison signed with the Jaguars on Monday. Ollison was selected in the fifth round of the 2019 Draft by the Falcons, appearing in 19 games for the team over a three-year span. He also spent time with the Cowboys last season, appearing in three games but only contributing on special teams. He'll work to make more of an impact in Jacksonville during the 2023 campaign.

  • Qadree Ollison: Back to practice squad

Ollison reverted to the Cowboys' practice squad Friday, per the NFL transaction log. Ollison was promoted to the active roster for Thursday's game against Tennessee as Tony Pollard (thigh) was inactive. Ollison played 13 snaps on special teams and tallied a tackle on kick-return coverage. He's now been active for three games this season, though he has yet to log an offensive statistic.

  • Cowboys' Qadree Ollison: Joins active roster prior to TNF

With fellow running back Tony Pollard (thigh) not expected to play in Week 17 against Tennessee, the Cowboys elevated Ollison from the practice squad to the active roster Thursday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports. With Pollard likely unavailable due to a thigh issue, Ollison is now in line to operate as Dallas' No. 3 backfield option behind Ezekiel Elliott and Malik Davis in Thursday's matchup against the Titans. In the 26-year-old's two game appearances this season, he's played a combined two offensive snaps without a logging a carry.

  • Cowboys' Qadree Ollison: Suiting up versus Chicago

Dallas elevated Ollison from its practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game versus the Bears, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports. Ollison will suit up for his first game of the 2022 season Sunday. The big-bodied back is probably better-equipped to handle less forgiving carries between the tackles than Tony Pollard and Malik Davis, so it would not be a huge surprise to see him tote the rock a few times against a shaky Chicago run defense Sunday.

  • Qadree Ollison: Joins Dallas' practice squad

The Cowboys signed Ollison to their practice squad Thursday. Ollison was waived by the Falcons ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline but has found a new home in Dallas via the practice squad. The 2019 fifth-round pick appeared in eight games for Atlanta last year and rushed 21 times for 105 yards and one score across 69 offensive snaps.

  • Falcons' Qadree Ollison: Mixes in behind Allgeier

Ollison rushed nine times for 30 yards and a touchdown while catching one of two targets for 12 yards in Saturday's 28-12 preseason win over the Jaguars. Ollison and Caleb Huntley both mixed in early on behind Tyler Allgeier, who started and scored two touchdowns while neither Damien Williams nor Cordarrelle Patterson dressed for the preseason finale. If Ollison makes the team, he could wind up carving out a role in a Falcons backfield with no clear lead option at this point. He helped his case by punching in a one-yard touchdown in the second quarter Saturday.

  • Falcons' Qadree Ollison: Re-signs with Atlanta

Ollison signed a one-year deal with the Falcons on Monday. Ollison finished the 2021 campaign with 21 rushes for 105 yards and one touchdown, while adding four receptions for 12 yards. With Atlanta returning Cordarrelle Patterson and Mike Davis, Ollison figures to compete with free-agent signee Damien Williams for a reserve role to start the 2022 campaign.

  • Falcons' Qadree Ollison: Scores on only rush attempt

Ollison ran once for 19 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 30-20 loss to the Saints. He also failed to haul in his only target. Mike Davis led the team in rushing attempts (six) and yards (30), but he also lost two fumbles and had to leave the game due to a rib injury. In his absence, Ollison played just 16 offensive snaps, but he took advantage of his only touch by bowling his way to a 19-yard score in the third quarter, recording the Falcons' first touchdown of the game. The 25-year-old running back finished his 2021 campaign with 21 rushes for 105 yards (5.0 YPC) and a touchdown across eight appearances.

  • Falcons' Qadree Ollison: Active Sunday

Ollison (quadriceps) is active for Sunday's game against the Saints. The 25-year-old was questionable with the quad issue but is ready to play in the season finale. Ollison figures to see limited opportunities Sunday behind Mike Davis and Cordarrelle Patterson in the backfield.

  • Falcons' Qadree Ollison: Limited Thursday

Ollison (quadriceps) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice session. Ollison didn't participate in practice Wednesday but he was back on the field in a limited capacity Thursday. While he's trending in the right direction, he'll likely have to log a full session Friday if he hopes to avoid the injury report for Sunday's game against the Saints.

  • Falcons' Qadree Ollison: Misses practice Wednesday

Ollison (quadriceps) was unable to participate at Wednesday's practice. The running back suffered the quadriceps injury in Week 17 against the Bills, causing him to miss Wednesday's first practice of the week. If Ollison were forced to miss Week 18, it wouldn't cause much of a change in the Falcons' offensive approach, as their top two ball-carriers Mike Davis and Cordarrelle Patterson will be available.

  • Falcons' Qadree Ollison: Questionable to return Sunday

Ollison (quadriceps) is questionable to return Sunday against the Bills, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Ollison rushed three times for 19 yards before leaving the game with the apparent quadriceps injury. If he is unable to return, Mike Davis and Cordarrelle Patterson will be the only healthy running backs available for the Falcons.

  • Falcons' Qadree Ollison: Five rushing attempts in Week 14

Ollison rushed five times for 23 yards during Sunday's 29-21 win over the Panthers. Ollison remains firmly behind Cordarrelle Patterson and Mike Davis, but he appears to have solidified himself as the No. 3 option after the Falcons waived Wayne Gallman. Across his last three appearances, the third-year pro has 16 rushing attempts for 64 yards and three catches for eight yards. However, while Atlanta's offense is reliant on its running backs, Ollison likely doesn't warrant any fantasy consideration as long as the aforementioned duo is healthy.

  • Falcons' Qadree Ollison: Signed to active roster

Ollison was signed to the Falcons' 53-man roster Saturday. The running back was elevated from the practice squad three times in the last five weeks and will fill a more prominent role going forward as Atlanta also waived veteran running back Wayne Gallman on Saturday. Ollison saw 14 total touches between the last two games he suited up and head coach Arthur Smith said Ollison had "earned the right for more carries" after he led the team in rushing yards (34) in Week 11. The three-year veteran should see more carries now as the team's third option behind Cordarrelle Patterson and Mike Davis.
