  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Practices fully

Bobo (knee) was a full participant in practice Thursday after participating on a limited basis Wednesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. The depth wide receiver first appeared on the injury report Wednesday. Bobo has 15 catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns as well as a rushing touchdown in 2023.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Starts week limited

Bobo (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Bobo popped up on the Seahawk's injury report Wednesday with a knee issue. He's registered a catch in four straight games as he operates behind DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba on the wide receiver depth chart. Over 12 games this season, Bobo has caught 15 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns and has rushed for a three-yard touchdown.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Records one reception

Bobo caught his lone target for a six-yard gain in Thursday's 31-13 loss to the 49ers. Bobo served as the No. 4 wide receiver and logged just 12 offensive snaps in the Week 12 loss. Since posting a 4-61-1 receiving line against the Cardinals in Week 7, Bobo has recorded just six receptions for 50 yards over the ensuing five games.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Full practice Tuesday

Bobo (shoulder) was a full participant at Seattle's practice Tuesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Bobo was listed as a nonparticipant on Monday's estimated injury report, but he now appears to be ready to go for Thursday's matchup with the 49ers. The wide receiver has caught 11 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown over six games since Seattle's Week 5 bye week.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Dealing with shoulder injury

Bobo (shoulder) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. The injury report was an "estimation of participation" since Seattle didn't practice Monday, per Boyle. Bobo played on 24 offensive snaps in the Seahawks' Week 11 loss to the Rams and caught one pass for eight yards. The wide receiver has 13 catches for 156 yards and two touchdowns this season.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Usage drops off in blowout loss

Bobo wasn't targeted in Sunday's 37-3 loss to the Ravens. Bobo finished with just nine offensive snaps while Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba all played at least 40 snaps, despite the fact that Seattle trailed early and had to abandon its run game. That's not encouraging for Bobo's future production, but he at least has a stronghold on the No. 4 wideout role, as Dee Eskridge didn't record an offensive snap Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Targeted once in win

Bobo didn't catch his only target in Monday's 24-3 win over the Giants. Bobo logged 20 offensive snaps, ranking fourth among Seahawks wide receivers and behind fellow rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba (27). The undrafted rookie will continue to play a role in the offense both because of his blocking ability and the team's lack of receiver depth.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Gets 53-man spot

Bobo earned a spot on Seattle's initial 53-man roster, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports. Bobo recorded 57-817-7 receiving line at UCLA in 2022 but then ran a 4.99-second 40-yard dash during the pre-draft process, resulting in him going undrafted in the spring. He caught on with Seattle and impressed during training camp and finished with the 14th-most receiving yards (125) among all players this preseason, earning a depth spot with the Seahawks to open the season. He might even get some snaps Week 1, given all the other injuries the Seahawks have at wide receiver behind starters DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Stands out in preseason

Bobo caught all three of his targets for 55 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 24-13 preseason win over the Vikings. DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and depth wideout Dareke Young (hip) didn't suit up for the preseason game, and Dee Eskridge (knee) and Cade Johnson (concussion) both exited with injuries. In turn, Bobo handled more reps than was previously expected. The 23-year-old capitalized on the opportunity by pacing the Seahawks in receiving yards. Bobo spent four years at Duke before transferring to UCLA for his final season, when he caught 57 passes for a team-high 817 yards and seven touchdowns. His production was quite impressive even for a fifth-year player, but his 4.99 40-yard dash at 6-foot-4, 207 pounds is concerning. As long as he keeps making noise in the preseason, however, he'll have a shot at one of the final roster spots this season.
