Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Scores in fourth quarter
Bobo was targeted twice and caught a five-yard touchdown pass in Sunday's 37-27 win over the Panthers.
Bobo logged 29 offensive snaps, which was just two snaps shy of first-round pick Jaxon Smith-Njigba. We shouldn't read into that too much, as Bobo's usage can be attributed more to his run-blocking acumen than his pass-catching abilities. Nevertheless, getting on the field this much as an undrafted rookie is certainly a plus.

Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Targetless in debut
Bobo wasn't targeted in Sunday's 30-13 loss to the Rams.
Bobo was a preseason sensation, but he's pegged as the No. 4 wide receiver in the regular season. The 25-year-old rookie played 11 offensive snaps. As long as DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba are healthy, Bobo's playing time will be limited.

Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Gets 53-man spot
Bobo earned a spot on Seattle's initial 53-man roster, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Bobo recorded 57-817-7 receiving line at UCLA in 2022 but then ran a 4.99-second 40-yard dash during the pre-draft process, resulting in him going undrafted in the spring. He caught on with Seattle and impressed during training camp and finished with the 14th-most receiving yards (125) among all players this preseason, earning a depth spot with the Seahawks to open the season. He might even get some snaps Week 1, given all the other injuries the Seahawks have at wide receiver behind starters DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Stands out in preseason
Bobo caught all three of his targets for 55 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 24-13 preseason win over the Vikings.
DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and depth wideout Dareke Young (hip) didn't suit up for the preseason game, and Dee Eskridge (knee) and Cade Johnson (concussion) both exited with injuries. In turn, Bobo handled more reps than was previously expected. The 23-year-old capitalized on the opportunity by pacing the Seahawks in receiving yards. Bobo spent four years at Duke before transferring to UCLA for his final season, when he caught 57 passes for a team-high 817 yards and seven touchdowns. His production was quite impressive even for a fifth-year player, but his 4.99 40-yard dash at 6-foot-4, 207 pounds is concerning. As long as he keeps making noise in the preseason, however, he'll have a shot at one of the final roster spots this season.

Jake Bobo: Heading to Seattle
Bobo is expected to sign with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
After four years at Duke, Bobo transferred to UCLA for his senior year, and he had 57 receptions for 817 yards and seven touchdowns. He was previously named third-team All-ACC at Duke in 2021 and was an All-Pac-12 Honorable mention with UCLA in 2022 as he led the team in catches, receiving yards and touchdowns. Bobo was able to utilize his 6-foot-4 size advantage at the college level, but it will not be as profound at the NFL level, and he will have to improve on his speed and cuts if he wants to stick on a team roster. He could be a potential convert to tight end if he, with the direction of the Seahawks' staff, is committed to adding weight during his training and development.
