Johnson (concussion) is practicing Monday, Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. The Raiders have a 21-day practice window to decide whether to officially activate Johnson or place him on season-ending injured reserve, per Blair. The injury is said to have something to do with his vision and likely stems from a concussion he suffered in the first game of the preseason. It's unclear if Johnson has cleared the concussion protocol, but he'll have to receive full clearance before returning to the field. If the Houston product can't go for Week 1, Nick Nelson could see an increased role in the defense.... See More ... See Less -
Raiders' Isaiah Johnson: Lands in Oaktown
The Raiders selected Johnson in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, 129th overall. A converted wide receiver, Johnson brings length and athleticism to the cornerback position out of Houston. Mark Kaboly@MarkKaboly3D agoSteelers don't pick up Najee Harris or Justin Fields 5th-year options. Harris will become a free agent after the season, which means this will likely be his last year with the Steelers. He could re-sign but would be crazy not to test free agency after the year.
