The Chargers waived/injured Lloyd (undisclosed) on Tuesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Lloyd was one of three injured players let go by the Chargers on Tuesday in order to trim the team's roster down to the 80-man requirement ahead of Tuesday's deadline. Chargers' Damon Lloyd: Enters COVID protocols
Lloyd (undisclosed) has been shifted from injured reserve to the reserve/COVID-19 list as a result of testing positive for the virus, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Lloyd was placed on IR on Aug. 25 with an undisclosed injury and was ineligible to return in 2021.
