  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Re-signing with New York

Zuerlein is slated to sign a two-year, $8.4 million deal to remain with the Jets, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. In 16 regular-season games with New York in 2023, Zuerlein connected on 35 of his 38 field-goal attempts and 15 of his 16 extra-point tries en route to recording 120 points. Looking ahead, the 36-year-old's fantasy upside hinges on the performance of the Jets offense in 2024, The unit figures to be buoyed by the looming return to action of veteran franchise QB Aaron Rodgers (Achilles).

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Hits three of four tries in snow

Zuerlein made three of four field-goal attempts in Sunday's 17-3 win over the Patriots. With heavy snow coming down, no kick was easy, so Zuerlein's performance was more than adequate in that context. He connected from 21, 40 and 33 yards but banged a 49-yard attempt off the upright. The miss was only Zuerlein's third on 38 field-goal attempts, and he made 15 of 16 PAT tries in 2023. The 36-year-old kicker will be a free agent this offseason, but the Jets will likely try to re-sign Zuerlein, who has spent the past two seasons with the team on one-year deals.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Makes two FGs, has one blocked

Zuerlein (quadriceps) made two of three field-goal attempts and both PAT tries in Thursday's 37-20 loss to the Browns. Zuerlein connected from 46 yards and 44 yards but had a 31-yard attempt blocked in between. He came into the game nursing a quadriceps injury but played through it. Zuerlein's blocked field-goal attempt was just his second miss in 34 tries heading into the Week 18 season finale against the Patriots.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Will suit up Thursday night

Zuerlein (quadriceps) is active for Thursday's game against Cleveland. Zuerlein was deemed a 'DNP' on Tuesday and logged a limited listing Wednesday due to a right quad injury. His status for Thursday Night Football was in some question, but he'll be able to participate in the contest after all. An erratic Jets offense has made it difficult to predict Zuerlein's production of late -- he's made multiple field goals three times in his past four games but also has three games with zero field goals among his past six contests.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Iffy for Thursday

Zuerlein (quadriceps) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game at Cleveland. Zuerlein returned to practice Wednesday as a limited participant after sitting out Tuesday's session, but his status for the Week 17 contest still appears to be up in the air. Per Rich Cimini of ESPN.com, the Jets signed Austin Seibert to their practice squad Wednesday as an insurance policy in the event Zuerlein can't play Thursday. The Jets would have to elevate Seibert to the roster no later than 4 p.m. ET on Thursday in order for him to be eligible to play against Cleveland.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Uncertain for Thursday night

Zuerlein is dealing with right quadricep soreness coming out of Sunday's 30-28 win over the Commanders and is uncertain to be available for Thursday's game against the Browns. If Zuerlein's leg was bothering him Sunday, it wasn't apparent in his performance. He converted all six of his attempts (three field goals and three extra points), including a game-winning field goal from 54 yards out with five seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. The veteran kicker was listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report, but he wasn't on the field for Tuesday's walk-through session, according to Al Iannazzone of Newsday. The Jets don't currently have another kicker on their 53-man roster or practice squad, so the team would presumably sign one no later than Wednesday if there's truly any concern about Zuerlein's availability.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Not full participant Monday

Zuerlein was listed as a limited participant on Monday's practice estimate due to a quadriceps injury, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. Zuerlein converted all three of his field-goal attempts and all three PAT attempts in Sunday's 30-28 win over the Commanders. This included his game-winning kick in the final seconds. However, he apparently came out of the game with a quadriceps issue as well. The veteran's status for Thursday's game against the Browns is now in question. It remains to be seen if New York will add a kicker to its practice squad, which would be a sign that Zuerlein's status is indeed up in the air.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Kicks game-winner in final seconds

Zuerlein made all three of his field-goal attempts and all three PAT attempts in Sunday's 30-28 win over the Commanders. Zuerlein was busy early, connecting on field goals of 25 and 27 yards along with three PATs as the Jets jumped out to a 27-7 halftime lead. His only kick of the second half was Zuerlein's hardest and most important, as it came from 54 yards away and put the Jets ahead 30-28 with five seconds left. Zuerlein's opportunities have been limited by New York's inconsistent offense, but the veteran kicker has been excellent when called upon, with only one missed field goal and one missed PAT on 31 and 14 attempts, respectively.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Makes three FGs, three PATs in win

Zuerlein made all three of his field-goal attempts and all three PAT tries in Sunday's 30-6 win over the Texans. After a scoreless first half, the Jets came alive offensively in the second half, scoring three touchdowns in a four-drive span before adding three field goals to increase their lead. Zuerlein's trio of fourth-quarter field goals were from 51, 55 and 44 yards.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Connects on both kicks in loss

Zuerlein made both of his field-goal attempts in Sunday's 13-8 loss to the Falcons. Zuerlein connected from 27 yards out in the second quarter and from 46 in the third. New York's other two points were scored on the Jets' league-leading third safety of the season, but the offense failed to get into the end zone. Zuerlein has attempted 25 field goals but just eight PATs, making all but one of each.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: No FG attempts again

Zuerlein didn't attempt a field goal and converted one of two PATs in Friday's 34-13 loss to the Dolphins. After benching Zach Wilson in favor of Tim Boyle during the previous game, the Jets' struggling offense looked no better in Boyle's first start of 2023. At least Wilson usually got the team in field-goal range a few times per game; Boyle didn't lead the offense into Miami territory until the fourth quarter. Zuerlein hasn't attempted a field goal over the past two games.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Four FGs account for all NYJ points

Zuerlein made all four of his field-goal attempts in Sunday's 16-12 loss to the Raiders. For the second time in as many weeks, Zuerlein accounted for all of the Jets' points. He has made all six of his field-goal attempts over that span and is 22-for-23 this season. Zuerlein connected from 47, 53, 30 and 45 yards in the Week 10 loss.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Clutch despite low volume in Week 8

Zuerlein made both of his field-goal attempts and his only PAT try in Sunday's 13-10 overtime win over the Giants. The Jets' offense struggled to provide Zuerlein opportunities, but he made a pair of clutch short kicks down the stretch. His 35-yard field goal tied the game on the final play of the fourth quarter, and Zuerlein added the overtime game-winner from 33 yards out. The veteran kicker has missed only once in six appearances this season.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Nine made FGs in last two games

Zuerlein converted all four of his field-goal attempts in Sunday's 20-14 win over the Eagles. New York's defense forced four turnovers, giving the offense numerous short fields, but it took until the game's final two minutes for the Jets to finally find the end zone. Prior to that point, Zuerlein accounted for the team's first 12 points with makes from 43, 42, 35 and 38 yards. Zuerlein made a 60-yard field goal last season, but the Jets notably turned down a pair of opportunities from 55-plus yards in Sunday's win, electing to go for it once and punt another time.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Busy in Week 5 win

Zuerlein made all five of his field-goal attempts and both PAT tries in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Broncos. Four of Zuerlein's field goals were 30 yards or shorter, as New York moved the ball well but frequently stalled out in the red zone. His other make came from 49 yards out in the fourth quarter. The veteran kicker has made 10 of 11 field-goal attempts heading into a Week 6 home game against the Eagles.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Misses 52-yarder

Zuerlein made one of two field-goal attempts and converted his only PAT try in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Chiefs. Zuerlein's 52-yard field-goal attempt in the second quarter clanked off the upright and bounced away. That proved to be a consequential miss in a game the Jets ultimately lost by three points. Prior to the miss, Zuerlein converted a 31-yard attempt. He has made five of six field-goal attempts across three appearances this season.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Accurate in return

Zuerlein (groin) made his only field-goal attempt from 52 yards away and converted his lone PAT attempt in Sunday's 15-10 loss to the Patriots. Zuerlein didn't miss a beat in his return after missing the previous game due to a groin injury. Wet conditions didn't deter the veteran kicker on a 52-yard field-goal attempt in the second quarter. New York's averaging just 14.0 PPG, so Zuerlein's opportunities will likely remain limited moving forward.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Good to go Week 3

Zuerlein (leg) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports. The 35-year-old was considered questionable for Sunday after sitting out Week 2 with the leg injury, and he'll be back on the field after a one-game absence. Zuerlein made 92 percent of his field goals inside 50 yards last year and had a strong showing in the season opener, making all three of his field-goal attempts plus one PAT.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Questionable despite full practice

Zuerlein (leg) logged a full practice Friday but is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Zuerlein's ability to practice fully Friday puts him in good shape to return after a one-game absence. The veteran kicker steadily increased his participation throughout the week, as Zuerlein was limited Thursday after Wednesday's DNP. Whether the Jets choose to elevate kicker Austin Seibert from the practice squad prior to Sunday's game will be a telling sign regarding Zuerlein's availability, or lack thereof.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Set to practice Friday

Zuerlein (groin) will kick at practice Friday, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports. Zuerlein returned to limited practice participation Thursday and will again test out the groin injury that kept him sidelined in Week 2 against Dallas and in practice Wednesday. If the veteran kicker shows that he's over the injury in practice Friday, he would likely return to action Sunday against the Patriots. Should Zuerlein require more recovery time, Austin Seibert would be in line to get elevated from the practice squad for a second consecutive game.
