Canucks' Aidan McDonough: Nets first career NHL goal
McDonough contributed a goal in Vancouver's 5-4 overtime loss to Calgary on Friday.
McDonough was playing in his second career NHL contest. He didn't record a point and finished with one shot in 10:03 of ice time during his debut Sunday. In addition to scoring his first NHL goal, McDonough also finished with a shot and a hit in 6:37 versus the Flames.
Canucks' Conor Garland: Snaps three-game scoring drought
Garland found the back of the net in a 5-4 overtime loss to Calgary on Friday.
Garland was held off the scoresheet over his previous three contests and six of his past seven outings. Through 74 appearances this season, he has 14 goals and 41 points. That puts Garland on track to finish below his 2021-22 totals of 19 markers and 52 points.
Flames' Jacob Markstrom: Collects third straight win
Markstrom stopped 16 of 20 shots in a 5-4 overtime win over Vancouver on Friday.
Markstrom struggled in the second period, allowing three goals on just six shots in that span. Still, he picked up his third straight win thanks to the Flames giving him plenty of offensive support. The 33-year-old goaltender has a 22-20-10 record, 2.96 GAA and .890 save percentage in 54 outings this season.

Weegar recorded two assists in the Flames' 5-4 overtime victory over Vancouver on Friday.
Weegar's first helper was recorded while Calgary had the man advantage. He has four goals and 29 points in 75 contests this season, including three power-play points. Weegar has a goal and four points over his last four games.
Flames' Troy Stecher: Has two-point game

Flames' Blake Coleman: Ties career high in points
Coleman tallied a goal in Calgary's 5-4 overtime win over Vancouver on Friday.
Coleman now has 36 points this season, which matches the career high he set in 2018-19. The marker, which tied the game at 2-2 midway through the second period, was also his 18th goal in 76 appearances this year. Coleman was held off the scoresheet over his previous three contests, but he did record three goals and five points in the span of four outings from March 16-21.
Flames' Mikael Backlund: Supplies two helpers Friday
Backlund registered two assists in the Flames' 5-4 overtime victory over Vancouver on Friday.
Backlund's second helper was the primary assist on Tyler Toffoli's game-winner. Backlund is up to 17 goals and 52 points in 76 appearances this season. He hasn't found the back of the net over his last seven outings, but the 34-year-old has provided six assists in that span.
