Josi scored a goal on four shots, added two assists, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Jets. Josi had been limited to one assist over his last four games. The defenseman was involved in all three of the Predators' goals, including scoring his fourth of the season early in the second period. He's up to 15 points, 75 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 20 contests. Josi has six power-play points and one shorthanded assist on the campaign as he continues to play big minutes.... See More ... See Less

Predators' Roman Josi: Strikes on power play
Josi scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 3-2 home loss against the Ducks. Josi's marker, with helpers to Gustav Nyquist and Ryan O'Reilly, sent the home crowd into euphoria late in the second period to make it 2-0. Unfortunately for the Preds, goaltender Juuse Saros was unable to hang onto the lead. Josi finished with a plus-1 rating, three shots on goal and two blocked shots in a game-high 27:28 of ice time. He has a goal and three points, including two points on the man advantage, in the past two contests. He'll try and make it three games in a row with a point when the Blackhawks visit on Saturday.... Predators' Roman Josi: Picks up two assists in loss
Josi posted two assists and eight shots in the Predators' 7-5 loss to the Coyotes on Saturday. Josi picked up helpers on goals by Dante Fabbro and Ryan O'Reilly. He would also add eight shots on goal and two blocked shots to fill the stat sheet Saturday. This snaps a two-game pointless streak for Josi as he looks to get back on track offensively. He should continue to play a massive role offensively, playing on the top pairing and the first power-play unit.... See More ... See Less -
Predators' Roman Josi: Strikes on power play
Josi scored a power-play goal on four shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Kraken. Josi's goal briefly tied the game at 2-2 before Brian Dumoulin restored the lead for Seattle. Over his last three games, Josi has two goals and an assist. The 33-year-old blueliner is up to seven points (three on the power play) with 36 shots on net, 13 blocked shots, six PIM and a minus-1 rating over 10 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Predators' Roman Josi: Pockets helper in loss
Josi notched an assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Canucks. Josi set up a Colton Sissons tally in the first period. After a shaky start to the campaign, Josi is settling in -- he's earned three points over his last two games. For the year, the Swiss blueliner has a goal, five helpers, 31 shots on net, 12 blocked shots, eight hits and six PIM through nine outings.... See More ... See Less -
Predators' Roman Josi: Pots OT winner Saturday
Josi scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Saturday's 3-2 overtime victory over the Maple Leafs. Josi finally notched his first goal of the season after taking a drop pass from Luke Evangelista just inside the Leafs' blue line and firing a wrist shot past Ilya Samsonov for the game-winner. The stud blueliner now has a goal and four assists in eight games this season, and Josi should be in your fantasy lineup at every opportunity.... See More ... See Less -
Predators' Roman Josi: Pelts netminder with rubber
Josi recorded six shots in Tuesday's 6-1 thrashing at the hands of the Oilers. Through four games this season, Josi has put 16 shots on net but has yet to bend the twine and has just one assist to show for it. The blueliner was limited to just 67 games last year, but that didn't stop him from putting up 59 points, including 24 with the man advantage. If he can stay healthy this season, Josi should be capable of pushing for the 20-goal threshold, though his early season drought certainly won't help.... See More ... See Less -
Predators' Roman Josi: Starts training camp healthy
Josi (concussion) was a full participant for Nashville's first day of training camp Thursday, per John Glennon of NHL.com. Josi was unavailable for Nashville's final 15 contests of the 2022-23 campaign after suffering a concussion during a contest versus Winnipeg on March 18. Now that Josi's healthy, he should resume his role as Nashville's top defenseman. He had 18 goals and 59 points in 67 contests last season.... See More ... See Less -
Predators' Roman Josi: Won't play in season finale
Josi (upper body) won't be available for Friday's game against Colorado, per Emma Lingan of the Predators' official site. With that, Josi will miss the Predators' final 15 contests of the campaign. He's finishing the season with 18 goals and 59 points in 67 appearances. That's well below his 2021-22 total of 96 points in 80 outings, but he's surpassed the 50-point milestone in five of his last six years, which is superb for a defenseman.... See More ... See Less -

Josi (upper body) won't play Thursday versus the Wild, Emma Lingan of the Predators' official site reports. Josi will miss his 14th straight game. Predators' Roman Josi: Not ruled out Tuesday
Josi (upper body) reportedly has an "outside chance" of playing against the Knights on Tuesday according to general manager David Poile, Robby Stanley of 102.5 The Game reports. Josi has missed nine games due to his upper-body injury but may be getting closer to returning to action. On the year, the 32-year-old blueliner needs just one more point to get over the 60-point threshold for the third time in the last four years. If Josi does suit up Tuesday, it would likely come at the expense of Kevin Gravel.... See More ... See Less -

Josi (upper body) will join the Predators for their two-game road trip but won't be in the lineup against Boston on Tuesday, Robby Stanley of 102.5 The Game reports. Josi will be out of action for his sixth consecutive contest due to his upper-body issue. Still, it appears the blueliner is trending in the right direction and could be an option against the Penguins on Thursday.
