Seahawks' Alton Robinson: Making strides toward return
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll expressed optimism Monday that Robinson (knee) can return this season, saying that the linebacker is "running and moving" but still rehabbing, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports. Robinson sprained the PCL in his knee during Seattle's final preseason game and hasn't yet been able to take the field during the regular season. While Carroll's update Monday is encouraging, it doesn't suggest that Robinson is particularly close to being able to return to game action. When (and if) he is able to play, Robinson will likely work in a reserve role.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Alton Robinson: Likely still out for a few weeks
Robinson (knee) is eligible to return from injured reserve after Week 4, but Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that the linebacker will likely still be out for a few more weeks, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports. Robinson sprained his PCL during the team's preseason finale and was placed on IR ahead of the season opener. It doesn't sound like he suffered a setback or is in danger of missing the entire season, but it's unclear when he may be activated off IR.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Alton Robinson: Dealing with knee injury
Robinson sustained a knee injury during Friday's preseason loss to the Cowboys, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports. Robinson sustained his injury early in the second quarter Friday, but he was able to walk off the field under his own power. Coach Pete Carroll said after the game that Robinson "banged his knee on the ground," and the extent of the injury isn't yet clear. His status for the Seahawks' Week 1 matchup against the Broncos on Sept. 12 remains to be seen.... See More ... See Less -

Robinson (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Robinson has provided depth at linebacker for the Seahawks all season. He'll work towards clearing protocols so he can resume that role Sunday against the Cardinals.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Alton Robinson: Active for Week 4
Robinson (knee) is active for Sunday's contest against the 49ers. Robinson didn't practice Friday, but he will be active for Week 4. The 23-year-old defensive end played 41 defensive snaps in Week 3 and registered five tackles. It's unclear if the knee injury will hinder him playing a large role against the 49ers.... See More ... Seahawks' Alton Robinson: Suiting up for divisional showdown
Robinson is active for Sunday's matchup against the Rams. Benson Mayowa (ankle) will be unable to go at the right defensive end spot, offering the rookie fifth-round draft choice his second start in three weeks. Robinson shined with his first starting opportunity Week 8 against the 49ers, tallying three total tackles along with his second sack of the 2020 campaign. Getting to Rams signal-caller Jared Goff will be challenging Sunday, with Los Angeles tied for the second-fewest QB sacks allowed per game this season (1.2).... See More ... See Less
