Golden Knights' Jonathan Marchessault: Earns Conn Smythe
Marchessault was named the Conn Smythe Trophy winner, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
Marchessault ended the postseason with 25 points (13 goals, 12 assists) in 22 contests. Although linemate Jack Eichel finished the playoffs with a league-best 26 points, voters may have been swayed by Marchessault closing out the postseason on a 10-game scoring streak, consisting of eight goals and seven assists, including an assist in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Panthers in Game 5. The former Panthers winger was one of six members of the Golden Knights' inaugural roster to lift the Stanley Cup on Tuesday.

Golden Knights' Jonathan Marchessault: Riding nine-game point streak
Marchessault posted an assist, three shots on goal and two hits in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Panthers in Game 4.
Marchessault's up to eight goals and six assists during his nine-game point streak. He wasn't the star of the show Saturday, but he helped out on a William Karlsson tally in the second period, which stood as the game-winner. Marchessault is up to 24 points in 21 playoff contests, joining Florida's Matthew Tkachuk and Dallas' Roope Hintz atop the postseason scoring chart. Marchessault has added a plus-16 rating, 74 shots on net and 52 hits.

Golden Knights' Jonathan Marchessault: Strong again in loss
Marchessault scored a goal and added an assist, both on the power play, in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Panthers in Game 3.
Marchessault continues to be virtually unstoppable with eight goals and five assists during his active eight-game point streak. The Golden Knights weren't able to get anything going at even strength Thursday, but Marchessault remains effective in most scoring situations. The winger has 13 tallies, 10 assists, 71 shots on net, 50 hits and a plus-16 rating through 20 playoff contests.

Golden Knights' Jonathan Marchessault: Has three-point game
Marchessault contributed two goals and an assist in Vegas' 7-2 win over Florida in Game 2 on Monday.
Marchessault tallied the opening goal on the power play midway through the first period and then provided the secondary helper on Alec Martinez's goal late in the frame. Marchessault's second marker came early in the third period to extend Vegas' edge to 5-1. He's been one of the Golden Knights' top forwards in the 2023 playoffs, providing 12 goals and 21 points in 19 outings. The 31-year-old is also red hot, supplying seven goals and 11 points over his current seven-game scoring streak.

Marchessault scored a power-play goal on three shots and added three hits in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Panthers in Game 1.
Marchessault has scored all 10 of his playoff goals this spring in the last 11 contests. He tied the game at 1-1 late in the first period to give the Golden Knights some momentum after a sluggish start. The winger continues to be a leader on offense with 18 points in as many contests, and he's added 65 shots on net, 49 hits and a plus-14 rating while playing on the top line.

Golden Knights' Jonathan Marchessault: Extends point streak to five games
Marchessault found the back of the net in a 6-0 victory over Dallas in Game 6 on Monday.
Marchessault added to the Stars' misery by scoring midway through the second period to push Vegas' lead to 4-0. It was his ninth goal and 17th point in 17 playoff contests this year. Marchessault will take his five-game point streak into the Stanley Cup Finals versus Florida, which is set to begin Saturday.

Marchessault had the secondary assist on both of Vegas' tallies. The 32-year-old winger has gotten on the scoresheet in seven of the last nine contests, picking up the pace after a quiet start to the postseason. Overall, he has eight goals, seven helpers, 60 shots on net, 43 hits and a plus-12 rating in 16 appearances. He's done his best work on the top line with Jack Eichel and Ivan Barbashev.
