  • Saints' Moochie Dixon: Signs with New Orleans

Dixon is signing with the Saints as an undrafted free agent.

Dixon will head to New Orleans after having hauled in 74 passes for 1205 yards and eight touchdowns across his three seasons at SMU. He is one of two receivers that the team has signed as an undrafted free agent along with Chris Tyree, and they should both have the chance to compete for a depth receiver role.

  • Saints' Chris Tyree: Headed to New Orleans

Tyree is signing with the Saints as an undrafted free agent.

Tyree began his collegiate career as running back before switching to receiver ahead of the 2023 campaign and finished his collegiate career with 1081 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on 106 catches and carried the ball 243 times for 1204 yards and eight touchdowns. As the team doesn't have a lot of proven talent behind their top three wideouts, Tyree could have an ample opportunity to compete for a spot as a depth receiver.

  • Saints' Fadil Diggs: Edge depth joins Saints

The Saints selected Diggs in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 254th overall.

Diggs starred at the NFL Combine with a 4.57 40-yard dash at 6-foot-4, 257 pounds, adding to a formidable college resume where he posted 14.0 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks across 12 games as a fifth-year senior at Syracuse. The Saints lack depth on the edge, but Diggs still needs to prove his coverage skills before he can be a dependable option. The 23-year-old projects as a situational blitzer for now.

  • Saints' Moliki Matavao: Big TE goes to Saints

The Saints selected Matavao in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 248th overall.

Matavao transferred out of Oregon after landing behind Terrance Ferguson, who was selected by the Rams in the second round of this year's draft. Matavao, a Nevada native, landed at UCLA and started the final two seasons, finishing as the team's top receiver in 2024. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound tight end ran a 4.81 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, which is below average for tight ends but is respectable for his size. His run-blocking ability will likely get him on the field sooner than his receiving ability, but he's hard to take down with the ball in his hands.

  • Saints' Devin Neal: Saints end draft slide in Round 6

The Saints selected Neal in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 184th overall.

Few would have found it shocking if Neal had gone as early as the third round, so in the sixth round he could prove a bargain for the Saints. The former Kansas star would ideally be a little more heavy (5-foot-11, 213 pounds) and would ideally have a little more speed (4.58-second 40-yard dash), but Neal's collegiate production was convincing on the question of his skill set. Neal really knows how to play, be it on running and passing downs, and if he gets his foot into the door history says he might be tough to put back on the bench. Neal might supplant Kendre Miller on the depth chart if Miller can't improve in his third year, though Neal is likely no threat to Alvin Kamara's usage.

  • Saints' Quincy Riley: Big Easy bound

The Saints selected Riley in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 131st overall.

New Orleans came into the draft needing some cornerback help and Riley helps fill that need. He is highly experienced with six years in college split between Middle Tennessee and Louisville. Riley showed great coverage instincts and an ability to find the ball with 29 pass breakups in his two years as a starter with Louisville. At 5-foot-10, 194 pounds, Riley projects as a slot corner even though he was primarily on the boundary in college.

  • Saints' Danny Stutsman: Saints add speedy linebacker

The Saints selected Stutsman in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 112th overall.

Stutsman (6-foot-3, 233 pounds), out of Oklahoma, was a productive three-year starter who spent a lot of time in opposing backfields, logging 34.5 tackles for loss over his last 37 games. Stutsman is built a bit upright and might have some trouble generating anchor at his weight, but Stutsman should at the very least prove an excellent pursuit defender thanks to his 4.52 speed. Stutsman projects as an eventual three-down defender for the Saints, perhaps once Demario Davis retires.
