  • Vikings' Garrett Bradbury: Out Week 2

Bradbury (back) will not play Thursday against the Eagles, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports. Bradbury exited the team's Week 1 loss to Tampa Bay early with the injury and was unable to return. It was reported Monday that he'd be day-to-day, but with the short week, the NC State product will remain sidelined. Austin Schlottmann should get the start at center Thursday against Philadelphia.

  • Vikings' Garrett Bradbury: Day-to-day per coach

Coach Kevin O'Connell said Monday that Bradbury (back) was day-to-day ahead of Thursday's game at Philadelphia, Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. If nothing else, O'Connell's comments at least suggest the back injury that forced Bradbury out of Sunday's loss versus Tampa Bay prematurely is not a season-ending one. Whether Bradbury will be ready for game action on a short turnaround in Week 2 remains up in the air, however. Austin Schlottmann would likely be in line to start at center Thursday if Bradbury can't go.

Bradbury (back) will not return to Sunday's contest against Tampa Bay, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports. Bradbury was forced out with a back injury during the first half, and it appears this issue is significant enough to keep him out for the remainder of Sunday's season opener. Minnesota's next contest will come on the road against Philadelphia on Thursday, so it will be worth monitoring the 27-year-old's status on Monday's injury report for more clarity on this back injury.

  • Vikings' Garrett Bradbury: Exits with injury

Bradbury is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Buccaneers with a back injury, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Bradbury sat out five games last season due to a back issue, though it's unclear if this previous injury is related to his departure from Sunday's contest. In his place, Austin Schlottmann has stepped in at center for the Vikings.
