Chaffee saw action in two games with the Wild in 2021-22. His ice time is limited -- he skated just 8:29 on Thursday. But he's living out his NHL dream, and that's a story we can get behind. It doesn't make Chaffee fantasy worthy, though.

Chaffee made his NHL debut with Minnesota last season and was held scoreless in two appearances. The 24-year-old was signed as an undrafted free agent out of UMass-Amherst after the 2019-20 campaign. Chaffee has scored 25 goals and 56 points through 77 career games with AHL Iowa, where he'll likely spend most of the 2022-23 season.

In 30 games with UMass-Amherst in the NCAA last season, Chaffee racked up 16 goals and 29 points as a junior. It's likely Chaffee will take a few years to develop in the minors at least before he has a shot to crack the lineup at the NHL level.
