Lightning's Tanner Jeannot: Out Saturday
Jeannot (undisclosed) isn't available for Game 6 against Toronto on Saturday, per Chris Krenn of the Lightning's official site.

Lightning's Tanner Jeannot: Won't play Thursday
Jeannot (undisclosed) will miss Thursday's game against Toronto, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Jeannot has no points, a minus-2 rating, 16 hits and two blocks in three playoff outings this year. He missed four straight contests from April 8-18 because of a lower-body injury, but it's not clear if he's dealing with the same issue now or if this is a new problem. Mikey Eyssimont (upper body) will draw back into the lineup Thursday after missing three straight games.

Lightning's Tanner Jeannot: Fights in first game back
Jeannot (lower body) returned to action Thursday and delivered one hit and a fighting major in a 7-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Jeannot had missed four games. He did what he could to help inspire his team, but it clearly wasn't enough. Jeannot has struggled to find his fit in Tampa Bay, but his aggressive style is well-suited to postseason hockey.

Lightning's Tanner Jeannot: Set to face Maple Leafs
Jeannot (lower body) is good to play in Game 2 against Toronto on Thursday, Chris Krenn of the Lightning's official site reports.
Jeannot missed Tampa Bay's previous four contests due to the injury. He had six goals, 18 points, 107 PIM, 290 hits and 62 blocks in 76 appearances during the regular season. Jeannot is projected to play alongside Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Corey Perry in his return.

Lightning's Tanner Jeannot: Could play Thursday
Coach Jon Cooper said there's an indication that Jeannot (lower body) will play Thursday against the Maple Leafs, Mike Stephens of SI Now reports.
Jeannot was injured April 6 versus the Islanders and has missed the last four games. The bottom-six forward will provide the Lightning with toughness, but not a lot of scoring, as he managed only a goal and three assists in 20 games after his trade from Nashville.

Lightning's Tanner Jeannot: Upgraded to day-to-day
Jeannot (lower body) won't play in Game 1 against the Maple Leafs on Tuesday but is now considered day-to-day, Gabby Shirley of Bally Sports Florida reports.
While Jeannot won't be available Tuesday, it appears he could be back in time to suit up for Game 2 on Thursday. Prior to his three-game absence, the winger managed just one point in his previous 15 contests while adding 19 shots, 63 hits and nine blocked shots in that span. Given his offensive limitations, even once cleared to play, Jeannot probably shouldn't be considered more than a mid-range fantasy option.

Jeannot (lower body) will be unavailable for the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Corey Long of NHL.com reports.
Jeannot was injured in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Islanders. The Lightning hope he will be ready to return at some point during the first round of the playoffs. Mikey Eyssimont is expected to replace him in the lineup.

Lightning's Tanner Jeannot: Undergoing further evaluation
Jeannot (leg) won't play Saturday in Ottawa and will return to Tampa Bay to undergo further testing.
Jeannot suffered the injury in Thursday's loss to the Islanders. Coach Jon Cooper had already described it as "worrisome" and it appears unlikely that Jeannot will return in the regular season. Jeannot has a goal and three assists in 20 games since he was acquired from Nashville at the trade deadline. Overall, he has 18 points (six goals, 12 assists) in 76 games between the Lightning and the Predators.

Lightning's Tanner Jeannot: Injury deemed worrisome
Head coach Jon Cooper described Jeannot's leg injury as worrisome, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Cooper didn't elaborate much on Jeannot's status, but the "worrisome" label suggests the winger will miss time. He'll likely be evaluated further going forward, at which point a timeline could be established.

Lightning's Tanner Jeannot: Suffers apparent leg injury
Jeannot (leg) won't finish Thursday's game versus the Islanders.
Jeannot needed help off the ice in the second period, and he was unable to put weight on his right leg. He was ruled out during the third period. All of a sudden, the Lightning have injuries piling up, so it's unclear what their lineup will look like Saturday versus the Senators, as it's unlikely Jeannot will be able to play.

Lightning's Tanner Jeannot: First goal since arriving in trade
Jeannot scored a goal Saturday in a 5-0 win over the Islanders.
He redirected a centering pass from Pierre-Edouard Bellemare past Ilya Sorokin early in the second period to push the Bolts up 2-0. It was Jeannot's first goal in 18 games (three assists) with Tampa Bay since being acquired from Nashville on Feb. 26. We was brought into the Bolts' room to bring edge to the team, especially during the postseason. Jeannot's season overall (six goals, 12 assists; 74 games NSH/TBL) is a huge drop-off from his 41 points, including 24 goals, from his rookie breakout last year.

Lightning's Tanner Jeannot: Zero shots since joining new team
Jeannot had three blocks and one hit in 15:11 of ice time in a 4-3 shootout win over the Devils on Thursday.
Jeannot has three assists in 10 games with Tampa Bay, but he has no shots. Overall, the abrasive winger's offensive struggles this season have continued in Florida, and he has just 17 points in 66 games after delivering 41 in 2020-21. Jeannot's value to the Bolts lies in his ability to lay the body in the regular season and playoffs. He's pretty much droppable in most formats at this point.

Lightning's Tanner Jeannot: Dealt to Tampa Bay
Nashville traded Jeannot to the Lightning on Sunday in exchange for Cal Foote and five draft picks, including a 2025 first-round pick.
Jeannot was scratched from Sunday's game as a trade began to take shape, and it was finalized quickly. The 25-year-old broke out during the 2021-22 season with 24 goals and 41 points, but that came with an unsustainable 19.4 shooting percentage. This season, he has 14 points through 56 games. However, Jeannot has racked up a ridiculous 531 hits over the last two years, including 213 in 2022-23. He'll be a bottom-six piece for the Lightning before becoming a restricted free agent this offseason.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Out Sunday
Jeannot will not play Sunday against Arizona due to trade-related reasons.
It appears that Nashville is shopping Jeannot on the market and doesn't want to risk injury in the meantime. The 25-year-old has just 14 points through 56 games after his breakout 2021-22 campaign. He likely won't suit up until after the trade deadline unless another team acquires him before then.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Physical presence in loss
Jeannot posted eight hits and registered 10 PIM in the Predators' 5-0 loss to the Bruins on Thursday.
Although not hitting the scoresheet, Jeannot made his presence felt on the ice, throwing out eight hits and taking a misconduct penalty in the third period. After posting a 24-goal, 41-point campaign last season, Jeannot has not been able to keep pace with that production so far this season with just 14 points in 52 games. The Canadian forward should continue to see time in the Predators' bottom-six forward core.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Provides game-winner vs. Jets
Jeannot found the back of the net in a 2-1 victory over the Jets on Tuesday.
Jeannot's goal at 5:38 of the third period proved to be the game-winner. He has four goals and 12 points in 47 contests in 2022-23. Jeannot has a goal and three points over his last five games, which makes this one of his hottest offensive stretches this season.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Gathers helper in win
Jeannot posted an assist, two PIM, two blocked shots and five hits in Monday's 2-1 win over the Flames.
Jeannot has started to get more involved on offense with four helpers over his last 10 games. In that span, he's maintained his grit with 16 PIM and 29 hits. The 25-year-old winger has endured a sophomore slump this season with 10 points through 43 contests after posting 41 points in 81 outings as a rookie last year. He's added 70 shots on net, 157 hits, 57 PIM and 41 blocked shots in 2022-23 while playing in a bottom-six role.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Rare assist in Saturday loss
Jeannot recorded a second-period assist in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Senators.
Jeannot now has just six points in 25 games this season and is unlikely to be much of an offensive presence given his checking-line role. He's currently skating on the Preds' third line alongside Juuso Parssinen and Yakov Trenin.
