Steelers' Cory Trice: Brought off IR
The Steelers activated Trice (hamstring) from injured reserve to the 53-man roster Thursday.
Trice will be eligible to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Browns, which would be his first action since having sustained a hamstring injury Week 3 against the Bengals. Trice started the week out strong with a full practice Wednesday, though he finished off with consecutive limited practices. He'll remain on the Steelers' injured reserve due to a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 3 against the Bengals, and Trice's next opportunity to suit up will be Week 14 against the Browns on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Trice (hamstring) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Browns, Mike DeFabo of The Athletic reports.
Trice was designated to return from IR on Thursday and was able to practice in full this week, but the Purdue product isn't quite ready for game action. His next opportunity to return will be Week 13 against the Bengals.

Steelers' Cory Trice: Designated to return from IR
The Steelers designated Trice (hamstring) to return from injured reserve Thursday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Trice landed on IR on Sept. 24 after hurting his hamstring against the Chargers in Week 3. He was able to log a full practice session upon his return to practice Thursday but remains on IR for the time being. Pittsburgh has 21 days to activate Trice in order to avoid having him sit out for the remainder of the campaign. Upon his likely return, Trice will likely play a rotational role in the Steelers' secondary as well as contribute on special teams.

Trice (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Trice suffered the injury in Sunday's win over the Chargers and had already been ruled out for Week 4 against the Colts. He'll now officially be guaranteed to miss the next four weeks and won't be eligible to return until Week 8 against the Giants. In his absence, Darius Rush may see extra reserve snaps behind starters Joey Porter and Donte Jackson at corner.
