Per Chris Johnston of TSN, Schuldt was put on waivers by the Kraken on Thursday. Schuldt had eight goals and 32 points in 71 games with AHL Coachella Valley in 2022-23. He hasn't played in the big league since scoring a goal for Vegas during his NHL debut in the 2018-19 campaign.... See More ... See Less

Kraken's Jimmy Schuldt: Agrees to one-year contract
Schuldt signed a one-year, two-way contract with Seattle on Saturday. Schuldt had eight goals and 32 points in 71 AHL contests with Coachella Valley last season. The 28-year-old defenseman has played in only one NHL game and that was back in 2018-19.... See More ... See Less -
Sabres' Jimmy Schuldt: Joins AHL
Schuldt was reassigned to AHL Rochester from the taxi squad Wednesday. Schuldt has yet to join the active roster this season. The 26-year-old has recorded one goal and four assists over 22 AHL Rochester games.... See More ... See Less -
Sabres' Jimmy Schuldt: Reassigned from AHL
Schuldt was assigned to the taxi squad from AHL Rochester on Tuesday. Schuldt has recorded five points over 22 games with AHL Rochester in 2021-22. The 26-year-old has yet to make an NHL appearance this season.... See More ... See Less -
Sabres' Jimmy Schuldt: Surfaces on waivers list
Schuldt was waived by Buffalo on Wednesday, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston reports. The 26-year-old Schuldt only has one game of NHL experience to his name and he hasn't drawn into a top-level contest since 2018-19, so he was always expected to be waived prior to the start of the regular season. The 26-year-old American will likely spend most, if not all, of the upcoming campaign in the minors.... See More ... See Less -
Sabres' Jimmy Schuldt: Heads east to Buffalo
Schuldt signed a one-year deal with the Sabres for $750,000 on Wednesday. Schuldt has only seen action in one NHL game, which came with the Golden Knights in the 2018-19 season (he did register an assist in that lone contest). If he's going to be a fringe NHL player, he'll have a much better chance with the rebuilding Sabres than with the contending Golden Knights.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' Jimmy Schuldt: Joins taxi squad
Schuldt was added to Vegas' taxi squad Wednesday. Schuldt will join the Golden Knights for practice, but he almost certainly won't crack the big club's lineup during its playoff run. The 26-year-old blueliner has picked up 14 points through 38 AHL appearances this year.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' Jimmy Schuldt: Inks one-year pact
Schuldt agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Golden Knights on Thursday. Schuldt inked an entry-level deal with the Golden Knights last season out of St. Cloud State in the NCAA. The 25-year-old has played just one game in the NHL, earning an assist across 21:03 of ice time. Schuldt will likely head to the minors again to start next season with the chance to earn a call up.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' Jimmy Schuldt: Sent to AHL affiliate
Vegas reassigned Schuldt to AHL Chicago on Thursday. Schuldt was called up Wednesday in order to maximize the salary-cap relief the Golden Knights would receive by placing Alex Tuch (lower body) on long-term injured reserve, so this move was expected. The 24-year-old blueliner will return to a prominent role with Chicago, where he's tallied 21 points in 51 games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' Jimmy Schuldt: Earns call-up Wednesday
The Golden Knights recalled Schuldt from AHL Chicago on Wednesday. Schuldt made his NHL debut in the regular-season finale last year, but he has yet to play at the top level since. The timing of his call-up is interesting, as the Golden Knights now have nine healthy forwards heading into Thursday's game versus the Lightning. If Schuldt is in the lineup, he'll likely work on the third defensive pairing.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' Jimmy Schuldt: Shuffles back to minors
Schuldt was reassigned to AHL Chicago on Friday. Schuldt essentially trades places with Jake Bischoff less than 24 hours after the Golden Knights were dominated by the Coyotes 4-1 on the road. Of course, the former has only appeared in one NHL game to date, and that was back in 2018. Schuldt, an undrafted defenseman out of St. Cloud State, figures to get another look when the big club finds itself needing more healthy bodies on the blue line.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' Jimmy Schuldt: Inks one-year deal
Schuldt agreed to terms on a one-year, $850,000 contract with Vegas on Thursday. It's a one-way deal for Schuldt, which all but guarantees he will earn a sport on the 23-man roster for Opening Night against the Sharks on Oct. 2. In his NHL debut last year, the blueliner notched one assist, one shot and one block in 21:03 of ice time. If the 24-year-old can carry his scoring touch over from his collegiate days, it won't be long until he takes over a spot on the power play. Whether Schuldt can live up to the hype remains to be seen, but he might be worth a late-round selection in season-long leagues just in case.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' Jimmy Schuldt: Rights remain with Vegas
Schuldt received a qualifying offer from the Golden Knights on Tuesday, David Schoen of RJ Sports reports. Schuldt has appeared in just one NHL game, but he registered an assist in that Apr. 6 contest. The 24-year-old blueliner will attempt to carve out a role with the big club in camp next season....
