  • Senators' Brady Tkachuk: Lights lamp twice in win

Tkachuk scored two goals on a game-high eight shots on net while adding a hit, a blocked shot and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Rangers. He opened the scoring midway through the first period by tipping home an Artem Zub shot from the blue line, and the duo teamed up again late in the second -- this time Zub's shot went way wide, but the bounce off the end boards set Tkachuk up for an easy tap-in. It's the sixth multi-goal performance of the season for Tkachuk, who's amassed 13 tallies and 19 points through 20 games.

The star winger is at 11 tallies, six helpers, 83 shots on net, 48 hits, 50 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 18 appearances.

  • Senators' Brady Tkachuk: Another multi-goal game

Tkachuk had two goals and an assist in a 6-4 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday. His first was a tip-in at 12:58 of the first to give the Sens a 1-0 lead. Then he cut it to 5-3 at 11:08 in the second with a wrist shot from the right dot on the power play. It was Tkachuk's fourth multi-goal game this season. And he has eight goals and three assists in 10 games this season, but he's been held off the scoresheet five times in those 10 games. Tkachuk is doing well offensively so far, but we'd love to see more consistency.
