And he almost sealed the game in overtime, but the crossbar kept the puck out. Tkachuk has 30 goals on the season, which equals his career mark set last season. Tkachuk sits second on the Sens' scoring list with 69 points, including 28 goals (68 games). Tkachuk scored at 7:49 of the first period, netting his second tally in the last three contests since he snapped 10-game goal drought. The winger continues to put up an impressive shot volume, but 15 goals on 179 shots is good for only an 8.4 shooting percentage. He's still on pace to match last year's 30-goal total, and his increase in playmaking has been an added bonus. The elite winger was positioned perfectly at the doorstep, controlling the puck after it skipped off the end boards and sweeping it into the cage for his seventh goal and 21st point through 16 games.
