Kincaid recorded five receptions on six targets for 43 yards in Sunday's 38-10 win over the Raiders.
Kincaid was heavily involved in the offense for the second consecutive game, and he now has 10 targets across two contests as a pro. Against the Raiders, he was regularly targeted by Josh Allen in the short areas of the field and also managed to show his ability to run after the catch to rack up additional yardage. The Bills appear willing to run a considerable amount of 12-personnel, allowing Kincaid to serve primarily as a receiver while Dawson Knox acts more as a traditional in-line tight end.

The Jets defense is tough, and while they struggled with tight ends last year, finishing as one of six teams with at least 1,000 receiving yards allowed to the position, they should be able to contain Kincaid in his first NFL action. For this week, if you can, it makes sense to roster two tight ends (Juwan Johnson, Jake Ferguson or Gerald Everett) to keep Kincaid on your bench.

The Bills traded up from the 27th pick to make the selection, making the former Utah and San Diego star the first tight end off the board. Dawson Knox is the presumed starting tight end for Buffalo, yet the Bills would only make this selection if they had extensive plans for Kincaid. It's reasonable to suspect that Knox will continue to handle all the inline tasks, in which case Kincaid (6-foot-4, 246 pounds) would function more like a slot receiver whenever the Bills roll with two tight ends. As a smaller tight end, Kincaid will need to make his living running down the seam and maybe getting some boundary looks on shorter fields. Whether Kincaid can make a mainstream fantasy impact might depend on how many reps he can take from penciled-in slot wideout Khalil Shakir.
