  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Perfect in victory

McPherson made his lone field-goal attempt and all four extra-point tries in Sunday's 31-14 win over the Browns. McPherson's lone FGA was good from 45 yards out near the end of the second quarter, helping give the Bengals a 24-0 lead heading into halftime. The Florida product finished his third season with 26 of 31 field goals made, good for an 84% conversion rate, with all five misses coming from 50-plus yards. He was also a perfect 40-for-40 on PATs. McPherson has one year remaining on his rookie contract and should return to the Bengals next season.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Kicks field goal in loss

McPherson made a field goal and two extra-point attempts in Sunday's 25-17 loss to the Chiefs. McPherson's lone FGA came from 34 yards out on the Bengals' opening drive, which gave them a 3-0 lead. He chipped in two PATs in the second quarter, but other than the kickoff to open the second half, the Flordia product didn't take the field again, as Cincinnati was shut out the rest of the way. Next up for McPherson and the Bengals is a Week 18 divisional clash with the Browns.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Kicker to Sit

The Chiefs are No. 1 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing kickers, and this could be a tough week for McPherson on the road. No kicker has scored 10 Fantasy points against Kansas City this season, and only five kickers have made multiple field goals against the Chiefs. McPherson only made one field goal in Week 16 at Pittsburgh with no PATs, and he should have minimal production again in Week 17, especially if Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) remains out at Kansas City to limit the Cincinnati offense.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Makes lone kick in Week 16 loss

McPherson made his only field-goal attempt and didn't try any extra points in Saturday's loss to Pittsburgh. The Bengals fell behind big early and trailed 24-0 at the half, so the team elected to go for a two-point conversion after scoring a touchdown on its opening drive of the third quarter. However, McPherson did get the opportunity to attempt a field goal in the closing seconds of the period with Cincinnati facing a 4th-and-15. The third-year kicker nailed the 35-yard attempt, giving him at least one made field goal in each of the team's 15 games this season.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Comes through in clutch

McPherson made both of his field-goal attempts and all three extra-point tries in Saturday's 27-24 overtime win over the Vikings. McPherson was successful on a 34-yard attempt on the Bengals' opening drive, but the team was then shut out until the fourth quarter. However, after three late touchdowns and three made PATs that helped force overtime, McPherson made the game-winning kick from 29 yards out to end his day. The Florida product is now 23-for-28 on FGAs this season -- with all five misses coming from beyond 50 yards -- and he's connected on all 34 extra-point tries. McPherson and the Bengals will travel to Pittsburgh for a Week 16 divisional matchup.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Stays busy during victory

McPherson made both of his field-goal attempts and all four extra-point tries in Sunday's 34-14 win over the Colts. McPherson made both of his FGAs in the fourth quarter, connecting from 32 and 35 yards out to help seal the win for the Bengals. The third-year pro is now 21-for-26 on the season on field-goal tries, with all five misses coming from beyond 50 yards. Next for McPherson and the Bengals is a matchup with the Vikings in Week 15.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Pair of clutch kicks in win

McPherson converted two of his three field-goal attempts and all four of his extra-point tries in Monday night's 34-31 overtime win over the Jaguars. McPherson started off Monday night's contest by missing a 57-yard field-goal attempt, but he was a perfect 6-6 on kicks after that miscue. The third-year kicker out of Florida drilled a 54-yarder to put the Bengals up by three with 2:28 to go in the fourth-quarter, and he made a 48-yard game-winning field goal in overtime. McPherson's most recent outing should make fantasy managers optimistic about his rest-of-season value, as Jake Browning was able to lead Cincinnati's offense to 34 points in Week 13's affair, which ties the team's season-high in points scored in a single game.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Quiet in low-scoring affair

McPherson converted his only field-goal attempt and his only extra-point try in Sunday's 16-10 loss versus the Steelers. On a day in which Cincinnati was only able to muster 222 yards of total offense, McPherson was predictably a non-factor for the most part. He knocked through a 47-yard field goal with just over two minutes remaining in the game to bring the Bengals within six points, but they couldn't recover his onside kick, and Pittsburgh was able to kneel the remainder of the game away. Cincinnati's offense projects as one of the worst in the league without starting quarterback Joe Burrow, so fantasy managers would probably be wise to look elsewhere for a kicker for the rest of the year.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Misses field goal Thursday

McPherson converted one of his two field-goal attempts and both of his two extra-point tries in Thursday's 34-20 loss at Baltimore. In an otherwise mistake-free game for McPherson, he was unable to send home a 53-yard attempt on the first play of the second quarter that would have cut the Ravens' lead to 7-6. He still hasn't missed from 49 yards or fewer in 2023, but another long miss in Week 11 sent his conversion rate on kicks of 50-plus yards down to 60 percent for the season. With Joe Burrow (wrist) set to miss the rest of the campaign, fantasy prospects for Cincinnati's entire offense and McPherson take a huge ding going into the home stretch.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Perfect in loss

McPherson made both of his field-goal tries and all three extra-point attempts in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Texans. McPherson made a game-tying 31-yard field goal with less than two minutes left in the game, but he never got an opportunity to get the Bengals the win from there. He also connected from 50 yards out in the third quarter, which helped close the gap on the Texans' 13-point lead at the time. McPherson may see fewer opportunities during a Week 11 Thursday night matchup against the typically tough Ravens defense.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Makes only field-goal attempt

McPherson converted his only field-goal attempt and all three of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 24-18 win versus Buffalo. McPherson was mostly quiet in Week 9, not attempting a field goal until the middle of the fourth quarter when he connected on a chip shot to extend Cincinnati's lead to 24-10. He's been automatic on kicks of less than 50 yards through eight games this season, and he projects as a good fantasy kicker when the Bengals host a middling Houston defense in Week 10.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Struggling some from long range

McPherson converted one of his two field-goal attempts and all four of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 31-17 win at San Francisco. McPherson missed his first field-goal try of the day from 50 yards out in the middle of the second quarter, failing to help Cincinnati expand on a 14-7 lead. Later though, he partially made up for the missed chance by connecting on a 56-yarder early in the third quarter to extend the Bengals' lead to 17-10. In all, he has made just four of his seven field-goal attempts from 50-plus yards out in 2023, a far cry from the 87.5 percent conversion rate he managed from that range his first two years in the league. He's still been generally effective overall though, and he projects as a fine fantasy option in Week 9 when Cincinnati hosts Buffalo.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Clutch in Week 6 win

McPherson made his only field-goal attempt and both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 17-13 win versus Seattle. McPherson didn't get a ton of chances during a low-scoring affair versus the Seahawks, but he answered the call and drove home a 52-yard attempt early in the fourth quarter after a three-and-out from Cincinnati's offense to extend the team's lead to four points, which the Bengals would hold the rest of the way. Cincinnati has struggled to advance the ball the whole length of the field so far this season, putting McPherson on pace for a career high in field-goal attempts. He's remained as effective as ever, but the Bengals will have a tough San Francisco defense on tap after their Week 7 bye.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Posts productive day

McPherson made both of his field-goal attempts and all four extra-point tries in Sunday's 34-20 win over the Cardinals. With the Bengals able to find the end zone multiple times in Week 5, McPherson was able to kick as many PATs as he had all season, going 4-for-4 and bringing his season total to 8-for-8. Both of his FGAs were good from 40 yards out, leaving him perfect on the year on field-goal tries under 50 yards, and 9-for-11 overall. Next up for McPherson and the Bengals is a Week 6 matchup with the Seahawks.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Makes lone kick

McPherson made his only field-goal attempt in the Bengals' 27-3 loss to the Titans on Sunday. McPherson was only called upon once, but he came through by connecting on his 21-yard kick in the first quarter on the game-opening drive. Unfortunately, for Cincinnati, McPherson was not needed again afterward. The Florida product is now 7-for-9 on FGAs on the season, while he remains a perfect 4-for-4 on PATs. Next up for McPherson is the Cardinals in Week 5.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Scores double figures

McPherson made four of five field-goal attempts as well as his only extra-point try in Monday night's 19-16 win over the Rams. McPherson accounted for 13 of his team's points, connecting on field goals from 49, 53, 48 and 54 yards. That impressive effort came despite him sending a 56-yard effort wide left on Cincinnati's first drive, just his second miss of the season. Through three games, he now sports 22 points.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Quiet day in blowout loss

McPherson made one of his two field-goal attempts in Sunday's 24-3 loss at Cleveland. McPherson converted on a 42-yard field goal on Cincinnati's first drive of the second half to cut the Browns' lead to 10-3, but he saw only one more opportunity to kick the ball after that. On the Bengals' next possession, he pushed a 51-yard attempt wide to the right. Joe Burrow and company being stifled almost entirely is probably an aberration, and McPherson's miss was just the third of his career from 50-plus after 17 attempts. If nothing else, Cincinnati's offense seems like a good bet to improve on its Week 1 point total in Week 2 versus Baltimore.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Struggles in narrow win

McPherson connected on one of two field-goal attempts and one of two extra-point tries during Saturday's 22-18 win over the Patriots. Joe Burrow found Tee Higgins for a nine-yard score on the Bengals' first drive of the game, but McPherson pushed the extra-point try wide right. The kicker missed another PAT to the right following Cincinnati's next touchdown, but after the kick was negated by an unnecessary roughness call, the Bengals opted to go for two. McPherson bounced back by connecting on a 28-yard field goal to start the second quarter and finally made a PAT before halftime. However, the second-year kicker pulled his final kick -- a 43-yard field-goal attempt in the fourth quarter -- wide left. Overall, it was certainly a shaky performance from McPherson, but given the Bengals' high-powered offense, he should get plenty of opportunities to bounce back in Week 17 against Buffalo.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Connects on three more kicks

McPherson made his only field-goal attempt and both extra-point tries during Sunday's 23-10 win over the Browns. McPherson made two extra-point tries before connecting on his lone field-goal attempt, a 30-yarder that extended Cincinnati's lead to 23-10. After missing back-to-back attempts in Weeks 8 and 9, the second-year kicker has connected on six straight field goals, including four from beyond 40 yards.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Perfect in Week 12

McPherson made both field-goal attempts and both PAT tries in Sunday's 20-16 win over Tennessee. McPherson connected from 47 yards in the second quarter and 38 in the third. The second-year kicker out of Florida has made 16 of 20 field-goal attempts in 2022.
