Cardinals' Dennis Gardeck: Will play Week 18
Gardeck (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.
Gardeck was able to log back-to-back limited practice sessions to end the week and will suit up for the Cardinals' regular-season finale. The six-year linebacker out of Sioux Falls has set career highs this season in tackles (44) and sacks (6.0) over the first 16 games.

Cardinals' Dennis Gardeck: May miss regular-season finale
Gardeck (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against Seattle, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Gardeck didn't practice Wednesday, but he's followed that with a pair of limited sessions Thursday and Friday, giving him a chance to suit up Sunday. The veteran linebacker hasn't missed a game so far this season, and he's tallied 6.0 sacks among his 44 tackles (34 solo). If Gardeck isn't able to play this weekend, Victor Dimukeje (foot) and/or Ezekiel Turner could see more work in his stead.

Cardinals' Dennis Gardeck: Back at practice
Gardeck (knee) was a limited participant at the Cardinals' practice Thursday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Gardeck missed the team's first session of the week Wednesday, so Thursday's participation is a step in the right direction. The linebacker will have one more chance to progress to a full workload Friday before Arizona's final injury report comes out ahead of Sunday's regular-season finale with the Seahawks.

Gardeck (knee) did not participate at the Cardinals' practice Wednesday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Gardeck appears to have left the team's 35-31 win over the Eagles in Week 17 a little worse for wear, popping up on the injury report with a knee issue. The linebacker will have two more sessions to return to the practice field this week, and if he can't go Sunday versus the Seahawks, Victor Dimukeje (foot) or Ezekiel Turner could be asked to step into a starting role in his place.

Cardinals' Dennis Gardeck: Logs another sack in win
Gardeck recorded five total tackles (three solo), including one sack and one tackle for loss, while also recording a pass deflection in Sunday's 25-23 win over the Falcons.
The 29-year-old linebacker is having one of the best seasons of his career, as his five sacks are just two short of his career best in a season. Gardeck ranks second on the Cardinals in tackles for loss and first in sacks through the first 10 games of the year. Expect Gardeck to continue leading Arizona's defense and causing problems for opposing quarterbacks as the season goes on.

Cardinals' Dennis Gardeck: Returning to action Sunday
Gardeck (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Rams, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Gardeck is in line to play in Sunday's contest versus the Rams, after he had missed each of Arizona's previous three games due to an ankle injury. The 28-year-old is expected to be in the mix for rotational linebacker snaps, and he'll also likely serve as one of the team's top special-teams contributors in Week 10.
