Dolphins' Jeff Wilson: Little involvement with Achane back
Wilson carried the ball four times for 11 yards during Sunday's 45-15 win over the Commanders.
Wilson played third fiddle behind a healthy Raheem Mostert (11-43-1) and De'Von Achane (17-73-2), ultimately logging just five offensive snaps. Though Wilson's involvement may not always be that extremely marginal, it's clear that he lacks a path to significant volume as long as both Mostert and Achane are in the lineup. His fantasy value is limited to deep formats heading into a Week 14 matchup against the Titans.

Dolphins' Jeff Wilson: Gets 14 touches with Achane out
Wilson rushed 11 times for 56 yards and caught all three of his targets for 17 yards in Friday's 34-13 win over the Jets.
Wilson worked as the No. 2 running back behind Raheem Mostert, who rushed 20 times for 94 yards and two touchdowns. De'Von Achane (knee) was held out of this game but seems to have a good chance to return in Week 13 against the Commanders, which would push Wilson down to a third-string role.

Dolphins' Jeff Wilson: Active Friday, likely as No. 2 back
Wilson is active and is expected to serve as the Dolphins' top backup running back behind starter Raheem Mostert in Friday's game against the Jets with De'Von Achane (knee) inactive for the contest.
In Achane's return from injured reserve during the Dolphins' Week 11 win over the Raiders, Wilson found himself inactive while Miami went with Mostert, Achane and Salvon Ahmed as its three running backs. However, with Ahmed suffering a season-ending foot injury in that contest and with Achane now sidelined for at least the Week 12 game after tweaking his knee in the team's win over Las Vegas, Wilson will re-enter the Miami backfield mix. Mostert is still expected to see the majority of the snaps and touches at running back Week 12, but while he was available for Weeks 7 through 9 during Achane's stint on IR, Wilson averaged 2.3 carries and 2.3 targets per contest. Given that the Dolphins enter Friday's contest as heavy favorites, Wilson could be in store for more touches than usual if Miami is able to establish a comfortable lead early on.

Dolphins' Jeff Wilson: Expected to play Week 12
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said Wednesday that he expects Wilson to play in Friday's game against the Jets, Daniel Oyefusi of The Miami Herald reports.
Wilson was a healthy inactive in Miami's 20-13 win over the Raiders in Week 11, as the team welcomed De'Von Achane back from a knee injury. Per Hal Habib of the Palm Beach Post, McDaniel mentioned Salvon Ahmed's special teams contributions as a reason that the team went with Ahmed over Wilson as the third running back behind Raheem Mostert and Achane. Ahmed (foot) has since been placed on injured reserve with a season-ending injury, while Achane (knee) is uncertain to play Friday. As a result, Wilson should have a role in team's running back rotation against the Jets behind Mostert, whose practice reps have been capped this week due to ankle and knee injuries.

Dolphins' Jeff Wilson: Healthy inactive for Week 11
Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Wilson's status as a healthy inactive for Week 11 represents a steep fall for a player who averaged 4.9 yards per carry and scored six touchdowns in 16 games a season ago, but it likely speaks to the confidence the Dolphins have in the health of rookie De'Von Achane (knee), who will make his return from injured reserve Sunday. After the tandem of Achane and Raheem Mostert proved to be a lethal one through the first five weeks of the season while Wilson was on IR with an injury of his own, Wilson looks as though he could be an afterthought in the backfield rotation moving forward. In addition to Achane and Mostert, Salvon Ahmed is also active as the team's No. 3 back, though he's presumably getting the nod over Wilson due to his responsibilities on special teams.
