    Schlottmann participated in training camp Wednesday, Will Ragatz of MSN.com reports. Schlottmann suffered a fractured fibula, which required surgery to repair, during Week 17 of last season. The 27-year-old appears to be fully recovered now, as he was earning second-team reps in practice.

  • Vikings' Austin Schlottmann: Re-ups with Minnesota

    Schlottman (lower leg) re-signed with the Vikings on Thursday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports. Schlottman will return to Minnesota after starting four games for the team last season. He fractured his fibula in January and is still recovering after having the injury surgically repaired.

  • Vikings' Austin Schlottmann: Making progress in recovery

    Schlottmann (lower leg) will begin rehabbing in early March and is expected to be fully healthy for the 2023 season, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. Schlottmann underwent successful surgery in early January to repair a fractured fibula, and he's since shed his walking boot. Assuming he indeed is ready for the start of the season, he should compete for a depth role on the Vikings offensive line, if not a starting position.
