• Bengals' Tedarrell Slaton: From NFC North to AFC North

  Slaton is in line to sign a two-year, $15.1 million contract with the Bengals, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Slaton started all 17 regular-season games for the Packers in 2024, making 30 combined tackles, including 1.0 sacks. He should be expected to slot in next to B.J. Hill in the interior of the Bengals' offensive line this season.

  Slaton finished the 2024 season with 30 tackles (15 solo), including 1.0 sacks, across 17 regular-season contests. Slaton started all 17 games for the second consecutive season, but like fellow defensive tackle Kenny Clark, Slaton had his snaps dialed back under first-year DC Jeff Hafley, who rotated his linemen more than formed DC Joe Barry. After playing 56 percent of the snaps in 2023, Slaton's playing time dipped to 39 percent this past season, and he finished the year with 20 fewer tackles. Slaton is slated to be an unrestricted free agent in March.

• Packers' Tedarrell Slaton: Steps into starting role

  Slaton recorded a career-high 50 tackles (23 solo) and two pass defended over 17 games in the 2023 regular season. Slaton started every game in 2023, including Green Bay's two playoff contests, after working in a bit role the prior two seasons, and he wound up averaging just under three stops per game. He could be pushed for snaps in 2024, but he'll likely remain in a significant role against the run.
