Meyers gets another difficult matchup in the Steelers and Joey Porter Jr., but he just scored 13.2 PPR Fantasy points in a more difficult matchup against Patrick Surtain and the Broncos. He has 28 targets over the past three weeks. His QBs don't seem to care who is covering him, Meyers is getting peppered with targets and way too cheap for his role.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Another nine targets
Rotowire
Meyers recorded six receptions on nine targets for 72 yards in Sunday's 34-18 loss to the Broncos.
Meyers finished second on the team in targets behind Brock Bowers and now has 19 targets combined across two games without Davante Adams (hamstring). He also managed his highest yardage total of the season thanks to long gains of 21, 18 and 16 yards. Quarterback play will remain a question in Las Vegas, but Meyers should have a key role in the offense assuming Adams is traded, as is currently expected.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: WRs to Sit
Rotowire
Meyers is the No. 1 receiver for the Raiders again in Week 5 with Davante Adams (hamstring) not expected to play. That means Meyers will likely be facing Denver cornerback Patrick Surtain, who we are calling "The Eliminator." Through four games this season, Surtain has eliminated the opposing No. 1 receiver, holding DK Metcalf (three catches for 29 yards on four targets), George Pickens (two catches for 29 yards on four targets), Mike Evans (two catches for 17 yards on three targets) and Garrett Wilson (five catches for 41 yards on eight targets) to minimal production. Meyers is next, and he should only be used in a desperate situation in most leagues.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Ten targets in Adams' absence
Rotowire
Meyers caught five of 10 targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Browns.
Meyers paced the Raiders in targets and receiving yards in the absence of Davante Adams (hamstring). Adams is considered week-to-week, so Meyers could remain the team's de facto No. 1 wide receiver in Week 5 against the Broncos. Meyers has 19 targets over the last two games after being targeted only eight times in the first two games of the season.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Sleeper WRs
Rotowire
Davante Adams (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 4 against Cleveland, which puts Meyers in position to be a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues. He should see an uptick in targets, and hopefully, he can produce like he did in Week 3 against Carolina when he had seven catches for 62 yards and a touchdown on nine targets. Tre Tucker is also worth using as a flex option in deeper leagues, and last week, he had a breakout game with seven catches for 96 yards and a touchdown on nine targets.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Likely to see increased targets
Rotowire
Meyers is expected to see increased targets in Sunday's game against the Browns after Davante Adams (hamstring) was ruled out, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
Already thin on wideout talent, the Raiders losing Adams opens up ample opportunity for players like Meyers and Tre Tucker. "I don't need another Davante. There's only one, right? I just need the best version of Jakobi Meyers," coach Antonio Pierce said Friday. While Meyers figures to see increased looks, Brock Bowers might be the biggest beneficiary and the favorite to lead the team in receiving against Cleveland. Meyers has rarely displayed any sort of ceiling for fantasy purposes, but his floor is higher in this spot.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Week 4 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
The Raiders passing game is up in the air right now with Gardner Minshew potentially on the verge of being benched for Aidan O'Connell, but Meyers is worth stashing where available. His targets have gone up in each of the first three weeks, and he just had seven catches for 62 yards and a touchdown on nine targets against Carolina. Meyers is worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB, and you can also take a flier on Tre Tucker (1 percent rostered) in deeper leagues for 1 percent of your FAB. He just had seven catches for 96 yards and a touchdown on nine targets against the Panthers, and we'll see if that leads to a bigger role moving forward.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Pads stats in garbage time
Rotowire
Meyers recorded seven receptions on nine targets for 62 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Panthers.
The stat line suggests that Meyers took a significant step forward in opportunity, though how he got to those numbers is less inspiring. He had just one catch for zero yards at the start of the fourth quarter. With the Raiders down 33-7, Meyers went on to record a 13-yard touchdown and another lengthy reception of 16 yards -- the latter of which came from backup quarterback Aidan O'Connell -- to account for a significant amount of his production. Meyers will maintain a role in the offense moving forward, but it's likely to be a more peripheral role behind both Davante Adams and Brock Bowers.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Snags four passes Sunday
Rotowire
Meyers notched four catches (on five targets) for 29 yards during Sunday's 26-23 win at Baltimore.
Meyers made the most of his three targets in a season-opening loss to the Chargers, pacing the Raiders with 61 yards on three receptions. In Week 2, though, he took a back seat to No. 1 WR Davante Adams (9-110-1 on 12 targets) and rookie TE Brock Bowers (9-98-0 on nine targets), which likely will be the case most games for Las Vegas in 2024. Meyers' next opportunity to make a mark comes next Sunday against the Panthers.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Leading receiver in Week 1 loss
Rotowire
Meyers caught all three of his targets for 61 yards and added a three-yard rush in Sunday's 22-10 loss to the Chargers.
Meyers' production included a 33-yard catch, which was the longest passing play for either team. He finished with a team-high 61 receiving yards, narrowly edging out Davante Adams (59 yards on six targets) and Brock Bowers (58 yards on eight targets). Adams and Bowers will likely continue to get most of the attention from quarterback Gardner Minshew, so Meyers may need to make the most of limited opportunities to find success in Week 2 against the Ravens and beyond.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Not expected to play Friday
Rotowire
Meyers and other starters aren't scheduled to play in Friday's preseason game against the 49ers, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
It sounds like the Raiders may also hold out some of their better backups, as QB Aidan O'Connell isn't expected to play Friday night. Come Week 1, the team will have a strong group of pass catchers competing for targets from Gardner Minshew in a road game against the Chargers. It'll be tricky for Meyers to match his 2023 numbers for volume (106 targets in 16 games) or touchdowns (eight rushing, two receiving), but there's no question he'll be on the field for a lot of snaps as either the second or third option in the Raiders' passing game (depending on rookie TE Brock Bowers' usage/progress).

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Comes up empty on four targets
Rotowire
Meyers failed to bring in any of his four targets in the Raiders' 27-12 preseason loss to the Cowboys on Saturday night.
Three of the four targets Meyers saw came from Gardner Minshew on the opening possession, and the final one came on third down from the Cowboys' 11-yard line during the Raiders' second drive. Despite the goose egg Saturday, Meyers is expected to once again serve as a valuable target for either Minshew or Aidan O'Connell in the upcoming campaign after posting a 71-807-8 line across 16 regular-season games in 2023.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Strong finish to season
Rotowire
Meyers caught three of five targets for 61 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for a five-yard touchdown in Sunday's 27-14 win over the Broncos.
Meyers improvised on a play on which he was expected to throw, reversing field and ultimately scampering into the end zone from close range. The wideout then found pay dirt again with a wide-open 33-yard grab to begin the fourth quarter. Despite inconsistent quarterback play, Meyers finished the season with 71 catches on 106 targets for 807 yards and nine total touchdowns.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Six grabs in Sunday's loss
Rotowire
Meyers caught six of 10 targets for 56 yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Colts.
Davante Adams monopolized the attention of rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell on the afternoon, but Meyers finished second on the Raiders in catches, targets and receiving yards. It's the first time the fifth-year wideout had seen double-digit targets since Week 7, and Meyers is just within striking distance of a new career high if he's able to produce 121 receiving yards in Week 18 against the Broncos -- a secondary he lit up for a 9-81-2 line in their first meeting this season way back in Week 1.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Records three catches in Week 16
Rotowire
Meyers hauled in three of five targets for 42 yards during Monday's 20-14 victory in Kansas City.
On a day in which Raiders quarterback Aidan O'Connell managed just 62 yards passing, Meyers paced the team in catches and receiving yards and ranked second in targets to only Davante Adams (six). It was a quiet follow-up to Meyers' Week 15, when he recorded touchdowns as both a receiver and passer in a 63-21 win against the Chargers. His next chance to produce arrives Sunday in Indianapolis.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: WRs to Sit
Rotowire
Meyers had a big game against the Chiefs in Week 12 with six catches for 79 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. And he's coming off a great Fantasy outing in Week 15 against the Chargers where he had two catches for 32 yards and a touchdown on four targets, as well as throwing a 3-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams. But I expect this to be a letdown game for Meyers, who has scored 8.9 PPR points or less in three of five road games this season. And Kansas City hasn't allowed a receiver to score more than 9.4 PPR points in the past two games against Buffalo and New England, so Meyers is just a low-end No. 3 PPR receiver in Week 16.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Catches, throws TDs in big win
Rotowire
Meyers brought in two of four targets for 32 yards and a touchdown and completed both his pass attempts for 12 yards and another score in the Raiders' 63-21 win over the Chargers on Thursday night.
Meyers made a significant impact on just two touches, recording his seventh receiving touchdown of the season on a 22-yard grab late in the first quarter. He later added a three-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams to cap off the Raiders' opening drive of the second half after catching a wide receiver screen from Aidan O'Connell. Meyers now has reached the 60-catch mark for the third straight season, but it's worth noting his receiving score was only his second in the last seven games. Meyers draws a much tougher matchup in a Week 16 road battle against the Chiefs on Christmas Day.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Five grabs in Sunday's loss
Rotowire
Meyers caught five of six targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Vikings.
The Raiders' offense came out of the team's bye in a complete funk, but Meyers was still able to haul in at least four passes for the third straight game, although his grabs didn't produce much yardage. The fifth-year wideout hasn't seen double-digit targets since Week 7, but he'll look to break out in Week 15 against the Chargers.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Variety of involvement Sunday
Rotowire
Meyers caught six of seven targets for 79 yards and a touchdown while adding one rushing attempt for two yards and throwing a pass attempt that fell incomplete in Sunday's 31-17 loss to Kansas City.
Meyers wound up leading the team in receiving in addition to his pair of unconventional touches Sunday, as Las Vegas' coaching staff was intent on getting its budding star back on track. The NC State product was recruited as a quarterback out of high school, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that teams have attempted to utilize that additional skill on trick plays. While Meyers failed to complete a pass against the Chiefs, his receiving touchdown on the Raiders' opening drive was the wideout's first since Oct. 22. Meyers will enter the upcoming bye week with 608 combined yards from scrimmage and seven touchdowns through 11 active games before resuming play against Minnesota on Dec. 10.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Down game on SNF
Rotowire
Meyers was held to two catches on as many targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 16-12 win over the Jets.
Meyers finished with two or fewer receptions for the third consecutive week following his blazing start to the season with Las Vegas. He was able to negate last week's dip in usage by scoring the first rushing touchdown of his career against the Giants, but there were no unexpected bonuses this time around. Meyers' recent slump roughly coincides with starter Jimmy Garoppolo getting hurt and eventually demoted to backup, as the two showed great chemistry earlier in the year after joining forces in Las Vegas this past offseason. That's not to say that Meyers can't develop a similar rapport with Aidan O'Connell over time, but until that happens, the wideout's fantasy value will continue taking hits until he shows more signs of life. That next opportunity will come against the Dolphins in Week 11.
