  • Raiders' Tashawn Bower: Finds new home

Bower signed a deal with the Raiders on Monday, Bower spent time with the Vikings and Patriots last season, appearing in a total of six games. The 27-year-old recorded four tackles (two solo) and one sack across 63 defensive snaps. Bower will work to earn a rotational role on the Raiders defensive line in 2022.

  • Vikings' Tashawn Bower: Enters COVID protocols

Bower was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. Bower has been with the Vikings since November but only suited up in Week 12 against San Francisco. He'll work to clear protocols quickly so he can at least practice with the team before their season wraps up.

  • Patriots' Tashawn Bower: Officially out

Bower (neck) has now been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game against the Bills. Bower suffered a neck injury early in the contest, leaving Deatrich Wise to fill the void for the remainder of the night.

  • Patriots' Tashawn Bower: Questionable to return

Bower is dealing with a neck injury and is questionable to return to Monday's matchup with the Bills. Bower recorded one tackle before exiting the contest. Look for Deatrich Wise to see increased reps in Bower's absence.

  • Patriots' Tashawn Bower: Shakes off ailment

Bower (illness) was absent from the Patriots' injury report Thursday. Bower was forced to miss last week's win over the Cardinals due to the ailment, but he appears on track for a return to the field. Bower has played sparingly in the four games he's been active with the Patriots this season, so he'll likely assume his usual reserve defensive end role for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

  • Patriots' Tashawn Bower: Unavailable Week 12

Bower (illness) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Bower dealt with the illness at practice this week and won't be suiting up versus Arizona. The 25-year-old has played a reserve role on the defensive line since re-signing with New England in early November.

  • Vikings' Tashawn Bower: Sheds walking boot

Bower (foot) has shed his walking boot but isn't participating in OTAs, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports. Bower presumably remains on the mend from an unspecified ankle/lower-body injury he suffered sometime during the 2018 campaign. The sooner he can return to the field, the better his odds will be of securing a roster spot ahead of Week 1.

  • Vikings' Tashawn Bower: Set for another absence

Bower (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. Bower will miss a second straight contest with the ankle injury that kept him sidelined during the Vikings' Week 5 victory over the Eagles. The Vikings will continue to be thin at defensive end with Everson Griffen (personal) away from the team, leaving Danielle Hunter and Stephen Weatherly as their primary pass rushers.
