  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Restructures deal with Seattle

Lockett and the Seahawks agreed on a two-year, $30 million restructured contract with a maximum value of $34 million Saturday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Lockett had two years and $34 million remaining on the four-year deal he signed with the team in 2021, so Saturday's deal moves some of the money while he'll get $13 million guaranteed in 2024, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. With the restructured deal, the Seahawks have seemingly added a little more wiggle room to their salary cap situation heading into the official start of NFL free agency Wednesday. Lockett had a down year by his standards in 2023, reeling in 79 receptions for 894 yards and five touchdowns, which represented his lowest yardage and touchdown totals since 2017.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Big-play WR Sunday

Lockett turned two receptions (four targets) into 71 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 21-20 win over Arizona. Lockett served the role of big-play receiver for Seattle in Sunday's comeback victory. The veteran wideout corralled a pair of 30-plus yard receptions, including the game-winning touchdown catch with less than two minutes remaining. Lockett's heroics did not save the Seahawks' season, but they gave the receiver 79 catches for 894 yards and five touchdowns over 17 games played. The 31-year-old is under contract with Seattle through 2025, but his contract has an out clause available for the upcoming 2024 season.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Disappears in loss

Lockett recorded one reception on five targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 30-23 loss to the Steelers. The Seahawks ran only 49 offensive plays, which limited the volume of many of their skill-position players. That was the case for Lockett, who has seen five or fewer targets in only four games this season. The performance was a continuation of his uneven production this season, as he has been held under 25 yards in two of his last four games, but he's topped 80 in the other two contests.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Leading receiver on 11 targets

Lockett finished with eight receptions on 11 targets for 81 yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Titans. Lockett bounced back from last week's poor showing (3-21-0 versus Philadelphia) to lead the Seahawks in receiving against Tennessee. The veteran wideout played a key role in Sunday's comeback victory when he made two drive-extending catches late in the fourth quarter that led to Colby Parkinson's deciding touchdown grab. Lockett hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 10, but he is seeing enough volume to provide fantasy utility against the Steelers next Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Little production off nine targets

Lockett had three receptions (on nine targets) for 21 yards in Monday's 20-17 win over Philadelphia. Lockett wound up leading the Seahawks in targets despite finishing fourth on the team in yardage Monday. The inefficient outing compounds a five-game stretch where the veteran wideout failed to score a touchdown or crack 100 yards receiving. Lockett will look to cure either of those ills when Seattle visits Tennessee on Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Sleeper WRs

DK Metcalf, Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba are all in play in Week 15 as potential starters to varying degrees given the matchup with the Eagles. I like Metcalf as a must-start option in all leagues, Lockett as a borderline starter and Smith-Njigba as a No. 3 Fantasy option. For Lockett, he just had six catches for 89 yards on six targets in Week 14 at San Francisco, and he has at least six targets in six of his past seven games. He has three games with at least 14.9 PPR points over that span, and hopefully Geno Smith (groin) is healthy for this matchup. Philadelphia allows the most Fantasy points to opposing receivers, so look for the Seattle passing game to thrive this week.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Leading receiver in loss

Lockett corralled all six of his targets for 89 yards in Sunday's 28-16 loss to the 49ers. Lockett boosted his 67.8 percent catch rate with his first perfect receiving game this season. The veteran finished as Seattle's leading receiver, but DK Metcalf and Colby Parkinson were the beneficiaries of Drew Lock's two touchdown passes Sunday. Lockett's clean outing brought his season line up to 65/711/4 through 13 games. The 30-year-old is in jeopardy of missing the 1,000-yard mark for the first time since 2018.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: WRs to Sit

Lockett hasn't scored a touchdown in three games in a row, and he's been at 10.1 PPR points or less in each game over that span. One of those games was against San Francisco in Week 12, and Lockett had three catches for 30 yards on five targets in that matchup. Things aren't expected to get much better for Lockett in the rematch, and the only Seahawks player worth trusting this week in the majority of leagues is DK Metcalf.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Modest numbers in Week 13 loss

Lockett secured five of eight targets for 47 yards in the Seahawks' 41-35 loss to the Cowboys on Thursday night. The veteran speedster was in the unusual role of playing third fiddle, as Jaxon Smith-Njigba recorded a career-high seven catches while DK Metcalf racked up three touchdown grabs. Lockett was relatively efficient with his solid target total, but his yardage tally was his second straight under 50. Greater contributions will almost certainly be needed from Lockett for the Seahawks to have a chance of prevailing in a critical Week 14 road contest against the 49ers on Sunday, Dec. 10.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Flex Starter (Lineup Decisions)

Lockett has seven-plus targets in four of his past five, but he still doesn't have as many as Metcalf's gotten in those games. He also doesn't see nearly as many deep throws as Metcalf -- literally two targets in his past two games traveled 15 or more Air Yards. Obviously he has potential to always pop off for a big game like he did against a tough Browns defense five weeks ago, but recent matchups against the Niners, Rams and Ravens weren't kind to Lockett. They were even less kind to Geno Smith, and this week shouldn't be much different. Tack on the tough assignment in Stephon Gilmore in coverage (unless the Cowboys use shadow coverage for the first time this year), and Lockett could be in for another lean night. I don't mind him as a WR3 over Drake London, DeAndre Hopkins and Diontae Johnson, but I'd start Rashee Rice and Adam Thielen over Lockett.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: WRs to Sit

Lockett continues to be an inconsistent Fantasy receiver, and he's tough to trust heading into Week 13 at Dallas. In his past two games against the Rams and 49ers, Lockett has combined for just 16.1 PPR points on eight catches for 81 yards and no touchdowns on 12 targets. Prior to that, Lockett scored 23.2 PPR points against Washington in Week 10, but this is a matchup where Lockett should struggle in Week 13 against the Cowboys. Dallas is No. 3 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and Lockett should only be started in three-receiver leagues. As for DK Metcalf, he's a low-end No. 2 receiver in this difficult matchup. Metcalf has scored at least 16.8 PPR points in two of his past three games.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Full participant Tuesday

Lockett (hamstring) was a full participant on Tuesday's practice estimate, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. Lockett has been a regular on Seattle's injury report for the last six weeks with a hamstring issue. His full participation Tuesday indicates he is on track to suit up for Thursday's matchup with the 49ers. The veteran pass catcher recorded five receptions on seven targets for 51 yards on a season-low 57 percent of his team's offensive snaps in the Seahawks' Week 11 loss to the Rams.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Remains limited by hamstring

Lockett (hamstring) was listed as limited on Monday's estimated practice report, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. As he has for six weeks in a row now, Lockett is dealing with a hamstring injury as the Seahawks prep for a game. Last week, he didn't practice at all but was able to suit up Sunday at the Rams, gathering in five of seven targets for 51 yards while playing a season-low 57 percent of his team's offensive snaps. Seattle likely will take it easy on Lockett this week, too, and Wednesday's injury report will reveal whether or not he has an injury designation ahead of Thursday's contest versus the 49ers.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Active in Week 11

Lockett (hamstring) is listed as active Sunday at the Rams. For five weeks running, Lockett has been impacted by a lingering hamstring injury, which didn't allow him to practice at all during Week 11 prep. A questionable designation for Sunday's game followed, but Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Saturday that Lockett was in line to suit up. With his availability now confirmed, Lockett will be looking to improve upon his 2-10-0 line on four targets that he put up against L.A.'s defense back in the season opener.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Likely to play against Rams

Lockett (hamstring) remains listed as questionable but is expected to play Sunday against the Rams, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Lockett missed all three practices this week, and while the veteran receiver isn't someone who needs to practice in order to play on Sundays, it's fair to wonder how close to 100 percent he might be leading up to the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Assuming he avoids the inactive list, Lockett should start Sunday, but he may end up facing more limitations with his snap count than usual. If that's the case, DK Metcalf and rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba could be needed to absorb some extra targets.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Appears truly questionable

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll suggested Friday that Lockett (hamstring) is truly questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Lockett was listed as questionable with the same injury three weeks ago, when he put up an 8-81-1 line on Cleveland's top-notch secondary. He then avoided a game designation the past two weeks, but it sounds like his status is up in the air this time around after being held out of practice three days in a row. Carroll mentioned that the wide receiver did some running Friday and told reporters that he'll take things day by day with Lockett ahead of a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff this Sunday. A matchup with the division-leading 49ers four days later also could be a factor here, though losing to the Rams on Sunday would make it tough for the Seahawks to win any NFC West tiebreakers unless they win both of their games against the 49ers over the ensuing three weeks. Seattle has a brutal stretch of games after Sunday, facing the Niners, Cowboys, Niners and Eagles over the following four contests.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Doesn't practice again Thursday

Lockett (hamstring) was a non-participant at practice Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. During his five-week stretch dealing with a hamstring issue, Lockett previously sat out the first two sessions of Week 8 prep before capping it with a full practice and a questionable designation ahead of game day. This week, he also has yet to practice, so he may be destined for a similar fate. Friday's injury report will unveil his potential to suit up for Sunday's road game against the Rams.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Lockett (hamstring) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. For a fifth consecutive week, the Seahawks are placing some practice restrictions on Lockett due to a lingering hamstring issue. The injury hasn't stopped him from suiting up on game days, as he's put together a 23-243-2 receiving line on 32 targets over the last four contests. Lockett will have two more opportunities this week to get back to full activity before the team potentially gives him a designation for Sunday's road matchup with the Rams.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Cashes in fourth TD Sunday

Lockett (hamstring) had eight receptions on 10 targets for 92 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 29-26 win over the Commanders. Lockett powered through his lingering hamstring injury to post one of his better receiving lines of the season Sunday. The veteran's eight receptions and 10 targets both matched his previous highs in each category this season, as his usage did not decrease despite playing at less than 100 percent in recent weeks. Lockett's 46-494-4 receiving line through nine starts should be enough to earn a spot in most lineups when the Seahawks visit the Rams next Sunday.
