With only two weeks left in the college football season, finalists for individual awards have been announced.

Awards will be given out during the Home Depot College Football Awards show on Thursday, Dec. 8. The Maxwell Award (college player of the year), the Chuck Bednarik Award (defensive player of the year) and the seven individual position awards have been narrowed down to three players each.

Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson, Michigan linebacker Jabrill Peppers and Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield are the three players with the opportunity to take home two awards on the night -- and are the three finalists for the Maxwell Award.
