Jaguars' Zay Jones: Limited in practice
Jones (knee) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Jones should be able to play for a third straight week while managing the knee injury, after missing six of eight games Weeks 3-11. His importance to the Jaguars is heightened after Christian Kirk suffered a core muscle injury that will require surgery, but it might be tough for Jones to repeat his season-high 78 receiving yards from Monday's loss to the Bengals if he's catching passes from C.J. Beathard (shoulder) instead of Trevor Lawrence (high ankle sprain) this Sunday against the Browns.

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Season-high 78 yards Monday
Jones caught five of eight targets for 78 yards in Monday's 34-31 overtime loss to the Bengals.
Jones and rookie wide receiver Parker Washington (six catches for 61 yards and a touchdown) stepped up after Christian Kirk (groin) got hurt on Jacksonville's first drive. Jones finished second on the team in receiving yards and tied Calvin Ridley for second in targets, trailing the nine targets and 82 yards of tight end Evan Engram. Jacksonville's entire passing game is likely to take a step back if franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence (ankle) misses additional time after exiting in the fourth quarter, which will make it tough for Jones to build on this season-high yardage total Week 14 against the Browns with C.J. Beathard under center.

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Catches one pass Week 12
Jones caught one of three targets for 10 yards during Sunday's 24-21 win over Houston.
The 28-year-old played 71 percent of Jacksonville's offensive snaps as the No. 3 wideout but finished sixth on the team in targets. Jones hasn't been particularly productive the past two weeks with five catches for 30 yards after missing the previous four games with a knee injury.

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Gains clearance for Week 12
Jones (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Texans.
Jones has missed six of the Jaguars' past eight games due to his knee issue and was a limited participant in practices Wednesday through Friday, but the coaching and training staffs were apparently encouraged enough with his health to give him the green light for Sunday. He'll suit up in consecutive games for the first time since Weeks 1 and 2. In Jones' return to the lineup in last week's win over the Titans, he played 43 snaps on offense and finished with four catches for 20 yards on four targets.
