Garrett (Achilles) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
The 28-year-old defensive end has been playing through this Achilles issue for the last two weeks, so holding him out of Wednesday's practice is most likely precautionary. Garrett's participation Thursday and Friday will provide the best indication on whether the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year can continue playing through his Achilles injury in the Browns' Week 6 matchup against the Eagles.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Garrett (foot/leg) is day-to-day, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Garrett underwent an MRI on Monday, according to Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram, and is dealing with multiple leg and foot injuries. However, the Texas A&M product wasn't willing to divulge much about the results. Considering Stefanski was willing to label Garrett as day-to-day, it doesn't seem like anything too serious was discovered. More clarity on his recovery timeline should come throughout the week ahead of the Browns' matchup against the Raiders on Sunday.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said after Sunday's 21-15 loss to the Giants that Garrett will undergo an MRI on his right foot during the upcoming week, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Garrett entered Sunday's game nursing injuries to both feet, and now the Browns will have him get imaging done to determine the severity. Garrett recorded a team-best three quarterback hits in the loss to the Giants but finished with just one solo tackle.
