Pelletier suffered a shoulder injury during Monday's split-squad game versus Seattle that will require surgery and keep him sidelined indefinitely. The Flames have yet to release an expected timetable for Pelletier's recovery, but it's probably safe to assume the 22-year-old winger will miss at least a few months of action. With Pelletier presumably headed to IR for the start of the year, Dryden Hunt's chances of making Calgary's Opening Night roster have likely improved significantly.... See More ... See Less

Pelletier scored a goal and added an assist, both on the power play, in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Coyotes. Pelletier deflected a Noah Hanifin shot for a go-ahead goal in the third peirod. He's added 22 shots on net and a minus-3 rating while filling a second-line role since his recall earlier in February.... See More ... See Less -

Pelletier notched an assist in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Rangers.
