Coyotes' Sean Durzi: Contributes assist in overtime loss
Durzi produced an assist and blocked four shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Stars. The helper was Durzi's first even-strength point in November. The 25-year-old defenseman has been a boost to the Coyotes' top power-play unit most of all in his first season with the team. He's up to 11 points (five on the power play) with 31 shots on net, 25 blocks, 25 PIM and a plus-8 rating through 15 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Sean Durzi: One of each in win
Durzi scored a goal on his only shot and picked up an assist in the Coyotes' 7-5 win over the Predators on Saturday. Durzi scored the game-winning goal on the power play, beating Juuse Saros with a shot from the point. He would also pick up an assist on Clayton Keller's goal. Playing in his first season as a member of the Coyotes, Durzi has made a strong first impression with seven points over eight games in October. He has also added three points in six games so far in November. The former King should continue to play on the top defensive pairing and first power-play unit.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Sean Durzi: Slides power-play helper
Durzi recorded a power-play assist and two PIM in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Kraken. Durzi snapped a three-game point drought with the helper. He's picked up three power-play points this season, but this was his first assist with the man advantage. The 25-year-old defenseman is up to eight points, 26 shots on net, 18 blocked shots, 25 PIM and a plus-7 rating through 12 contests overall.... See More ... See Less -

Durzi helped out on Michael Carcone's game-tying goal early in the first period and scored one of his own in the middle frame. With four goals on the season, Durzi has joined Drew Doughty and Jakob Chychrun atop the goal-scoring charts for defensemen. The 25-year-old Durzi has seven points, 21 shots on net, 14 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating through eight appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Sean Durzi: Tallies in loss
Durzi scored a goal on two shots, blocked three shots and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Kings. Durzi's goal put the Coyotes ahead 4-1, but they couldn't hold the lead. The 25-year-old defenseman has provided plenty of scoring pop from the blue line with three goals and two assists over seven contests. His goal Friday was his first at even strength this season. He's also racked up 12 blocked shots, 18 shots on net and a plus-5 rating.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Sean Durzi: Grabs helper Saturday
Durzi notched an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Ducks. Durzi has fit right in with the Coyotes, earning four points over five contests. He had the secondary helper on Clayton Keller's tally Saturday. Durzi has also held his own defensively with a plus-2 rating and seven blocked shots, though he's added four PIM. The 25-year-old should continue to provide sneaky offense from the blue line while serving on the top power-play unit.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Sean Durzi: Notches power-play goal in debut
Durzi potted a power-play goal in Friday's 4-3 shootout victory against the Devils. Durzi was a busy beaver in his team debut, leading the Arizona rearguards with three shots on goal while also taking a minor penalty in his 23:26 of ice time. He has already equaled his power-play goal total of a season ago with the Kings. The 24-year-old should have a lot more responsibilities on the Arizona blue line than he did in L.A.... See More ... Coyotes' Sean Durzi: Traded to Arizona
Durzi was traded from LA to Arizona on Saturday for a second-round pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. Durzi had a good offensive season in 2022-23, tallying nine goals while adding 29 assists. The 24-year-old defenseman will be a top-four defenseman in Arizona and should see plenty of time on the power play for a Coyotes team with few established alternatives on the blue line. LA will receive Montreal's second-round pick in 2024.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Sean Durzi: Finds twine in loss
Durzi scored a goal and added two hits in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 6. Durzi snapped his 11-game point drought Saturday, but it wasn't enough to keep the Kings' season going. The defenseman added just five shots on net with 14 hits, 11 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over six playoff contests. His scoring touch is obvious after a 38-point effort in 72 regular-season games, but there's still progress for Durzi to make in his own zone to be a trusted part of the Kings' defense.... Kings' Sean Durzi: Opens scoring in narrow win
Durzi scored a goal, blocked three shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Kraken. Durzi opened the scoring 11:45 into the second period. Durzi netted a goal in the Kings' 2-1 loss to Calgary on Tuesday. Durzi missed seven straight games because of an upper-body injury, but he's contributed three points (a goal, two assists) in two contests since returning. That's pushed him up to eight goals and 37 points in 64 appearances this season. The 24-year-old, who is in his sophomore campaign, has established himself as a regular on the Kings' power play. Going into Tuesday's action, Durzi was averaging 2:10 of ice time with the man advantage, and he's provided 16 points in that role.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Sean Durzi: Two assists in return

Both of Durzi's assists came on the power play, setting up Viktor Arvidsson in the first period before grabbing his second helper on Trevor Moore's tally 1:58 later. It was a strong showing for the 24-year-old Durzi, who had missed Los Angeles' previous seven contests with an upper-body injury. He's up to 36 points (seven goals, 29 assists) through 63 games this season.... See More ... See Less -

Kings' Sean Durzi: Practices with Kings
Durzi (upper body) joined the Kings for Wednesday's practice, per Zach Dooley of LA Kings Insider. Durzi had been skating on his own, but this is the first time he's worked with LA since he was injured March 6. Durzi served as an extra during the practice, so it might still take some time before he's ready to play, but the 24-year-old is at least trending in the right direction. He has seven goals and 34 points in 62 contests this season.... See More ... See Less -
