Tarasenko scored two goals, one the game-winner, and added an assist in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Rangers. The veteran winger gave the Senators a 3-1 lead early in the second period by snapping a shot from the faceoff dot over Igor Shesterkin's glove and off the crossbar before icing things with an empty-netter in the third. Tarasenko broke out of a 13-game goal drought with the performance, and on the season he's up to five goals and 17 points through 20 contests.... See More ... See Less

Senators' Vladimir Tarasenko: Registers two assist in win
Tarasenko recorded a pair of helpers against the Red Wings on Thursday. Tarasenko remains stuck in an eight-game goal drought during which he has managed just 13 shots. The Russian winger does have five helpers over that stretch but he might once again struggle to reach the 20-goal threshold, a mark he missed last season.... See More ... See Less -
Senators' Vladimir Tarasenko: Fourth two-point game in last five
Tarasenko scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 6-4 loss to Buffalo. Tarasenko pulled the Sens to within three goals at 15:35 of the third period when he hammered in a pass from Thomas Chabot from below the left circle. It was Tarasenko's fourth two-point game in his last five contests. The pressures of playing in a Canadian city are exponentially greater than the relatively cushy and quiet St. Louis, but Tarasenko appears to be settling into this new reality.... See More ... Senators' Vladimir Tarasenko: One of each in win
Tarasenko scored a goal, added an assist, logged two hits and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Capitals. Tarasenko opened the scoring just 4:28 into the game. He also picked up an assist in the second period. The 31-year-old winger has strung together three multi-point efforts, giving him two goals, four helpers, six shots on net and a plus-4 rating through four contests overall. He's done that with limited ice time, playing more than 15 minutes just once so far this season.... See More ... See Less -

Tarasenko notched his first goal of the season and added an assist in Sunday's 5-2 win against the Lightning. Tarasenko didn't waste much time, opening the scoring at 7:02 of the first period. He also tacked on the only assist on Mathieu Joseph's game-winning goal late in the second period, while posting a plus-2 rating, four shots on net and two hits in 15:49 of ice time. Tarasenko has posted back-to-back two-point games after getting blanked by Carolina in his Senators debut.... See More ... See Less -
Senators' Vladimir Tarasenko: Signs with Ottawa
Tarasenko signed a one-year, $5 million contract with the Senators on Thursday. Tarasenko was reportedly close to a deal with the Hurricanes earlier in July, but that never came to fruition. Instead, he circled back to another team that had some early interest and took a short-term deal with the Senators. He'll provide a veteran presence in the top six for a young team, and he'll likely also add some scoring pop. The 31-year-old winger had 18 goals and 50 points over 69 contests last year, but he's a six-time 30-goal scorer. Tarasenko should also see ample power-play time in 2023-24, and his reasonable cap hit could make his contract moveable at the trade deadline if the Senators underperform, though Tarasenko has a full no-trade clause in the deal.... Rangers' Vladimir Tarasenko: Contributes game-winning goal
Tarasenko collected a goal and an assist in a 5-2 win over the Devils in Game 6 on Saturday. Tarasenko broke through after being held blanked on all nine of his shots over the previous three contests. He now has three markers and four points in six playoff outings this year. Tarasenko's latest tally came late in the second period and stood as the game-winner.... See More ... See Less -
Rangers' Vladimir Tarasenko: Scores goal in 5-1 win
Tarasenko scored a goal on two shots in a 5-1 victory over New Jersey on Tuesday. Tarasenko has seemingly enjoyed his move to the Big Apple, as he has tallied nine goals and 14 helpers in 32 games with the Blue Shirts, including both the regular and post-seasons. Playing on a stacked second line with Artemi Panarin and Vincent Trocheck, Tarasenko should continue to rack up points and offer top-end fantasy value.... See More ... See Less -

Tarasenko supplied a power-play assist in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Lightning. Tarasenko's primary assist on the man advantage gives him 10 assists and 17 points through 27 games with the Rangers. The Blueshirts have clinched a playoff berth, and Tarasenko -- who dropped 60 points (41 goals, 19 assists) through 90 postseason games with the Blues -- should remain a key fixture within the top six and No. 2 power-play unit for the postseason.... Rangers' Vladimir Tarasenko: OT winner caps three-point night
Tarasenko scored the overtime winner after dishing out two assists -- one on the power play -- in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Flyers. On the night before Patrick Kane's expected Rangers debut, it was New York's other big trade deadline acquisition who carried the team to victory. Tarasenko set up Mika Zibanejad for a power-play goal on the game's first shot, then fired a puck from just inside the blue line that Chris Kreider deflected in for the game-tying goal in the third period. The former Blues winger capped his three-point night with his third goal in 10 games as a Ranger, blasting a shot past Carter Hart to win it in overtime.... See More ... See Less -

The helper was Tarasenko's fourth point in six games with the Rangers since he was traded from the Blues. The 31-year-old winger is up to 12 goals, 21 helpers, 112 shots on net, 49 hits and a minus-4 rating through 44 contests overall. He continues to log top-six minutes and significant power-play time with the Rangers, so fantasy managers should remain confident in his ability to generate offense.... See More ... See Less -

It was his 11th goal and 30th point in 39 contests this season. Before the trade, Tarasenko was going through a rough patch. He recorded no points and a minus-4 rating over his final five outings with the Blues.... See More ... See Less -
Rangers' Vladimir Tarasenko: Traded to New York
Tarasenko was sent to the Rangers from the Blues on Thursday, along with Niko Mikkola, in exchange for Sammy Blais, Hunter Skinner, a 2023 conditional first-round pick and 2024 conditional fourth-round pick. Tarasenko has scored just 10 goals in 38 games this season and could miss the 30-goal threshold for the third time in four seasons, though his previous misses were due to injuries. The winger figures to link up with fellow Russian Artemi Panarin, along with Mike Zibanejad, on the Rangers' top line and should be a factor with the No. 1 power-play unit as well.... See More ...
