  • Rangers' Patrick Kane: Scores Tuesday

Kane scored a goal on his only shot Tuesday in a 6-2 win over the Blue Jackets. Kane extended New York's lead to 3-0 in the first period, firing a shot from a sharp angle over the shoulder of Michael Hutchinson. Kane now has goals in back-to-back games and nine points (five goals, four assists) in 13 games with the Rangers. Overall, the 34-year-old winger is up to 22 goals and 54 points in 67 games between New York and Chicago.

  • Rangers' Patrick Kane: Gets two assists Saturday

Kane registered two assists in Saturday's 6-0 victory over Pittsburgh. Kane earned his third multi-point game in the span of six contests. Through 62 appearances in 2022-23, he has provided 19 goals and 52 points in 62 appearances. Kane averaged 18:43 of ice time over his first seven games with the Rangers and logged 16:43 on Saturday, which is down from his average of 19:57 over 54 contests with the Blackhawks before they shipped him to New York on Feb. 28. Despite his somewhat smaller role with the Rangers, Kane still has three goals and seven points over eight outings with his new team.

  • Rangers' Patrick Kane: Two points against Caps

Kane scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Tuesday's 5-3 win over Washington. The veteran star had a bit of a slow start to his Rangers tenure after being traded, but Kane now has three goals and five points over the last four games, with two of the tallies coming on the power play. He has 50 points in 60 games on the season between Chicago and New York, and Kane's next goal will be his 20th of the year -- a plateau he's reached 14 other times -- and the 450th of his career.

  • Rangers' Patrick Kane: First points since trade

Kane scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over the Canadiens. His tally late in the second period tied the game at 3-3, and gave Kane his first goal as a Ranger. The 34-year-old had a bumpy adjustment to his new team, failing to find the scoresheet with a minus-4 rating in his first two games with New York, but skating on a line with Artemi Panarin and Vincent Trocheck appears to have gotten Kane back on track quickly.

  • Rangers' Patrick Kane: Held off scoresheet in debut

Kane played 19:36 in his Rangers debut Thursday in a 5-3 loss to the Senators. He had four shots and finished minus-2. The Sens ruined Kane's debut with three unanswered goals in the third period to take the win. The winger played 5:58 on the power play, which bodes well for his future production once he gets into a groove with his new teammates.

  • Rangers' Patrick Kane: Will debut Thursday

Kane won't play Wednesday versus the Flyers but will make his Rangers debut Thursday versus the Senators, Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today reports. Rangers fans will have to wait an extra day to see Kane suit up. The 34-year-old is expected to play alongside former and current teammate Artemi Panarin on the second line. It's unclear who will suit up for the Rangers on Wednesday, as they only have 11 healthy forwards on the roster for that contest.

  • Rangers' Patrick Kane: Dealt to Rangers

The Rangers acquired Kane and Cooper Zech from the Blackhawks on Tuesday in exchange for Andy Welinski, a conditional second-round pick and a 2023 fourth-round pick. It's the end of an era, as Kane has only played for Chicago since being drafted by the team first overall in 2007, having racked up an eye-popping 446 goals and 1,225 points through 1,161 appearances while winning three Stanley Cups in his 16 seasons with the Blackhawks. The 34-year-old winger, who's racked up 16 goals and 45 points through 54 contests this season, should skate on a line with Artemi Panarin and Vincent Trocheck in New York, which should boost his fantasy value substantially. Kane could make his Rangers debut as soon as Wednesday versus Philadelphia.

  • Blackhawks' Patrick Kane: Still sitting out

When asked about Kane's (not injury related) status Monday, general manager Kyle Davidson declined to comment on whether the winger had officially waived his no-trade clause yet, but he added the situation is "purely in a holding pattern right now until things hopefully get to a conclusion," Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Most reports have stated Kane is only willing to waive his no-trade clause in order to make a deal between Chicago and the Rangers work, and it's safe to assume he'll continue to sit for the Blackhawks unless he remains with the team following Friday's trade deadline. The 34-year-old American has racked up 16 goals and 45 points on an awful Chicago team this year, but the return he'll fetch in a trade will almost certainly be limited due to his stringent conditions.

  • Blackhawks' Patrick Kane: Won't play Saturday

Kane will be kept out of the lineup for Saturday's game against San Jose while he's in a "period of reflection," his agent Pat Brisson told Pierre LeBrun of TSN. It remains to be seen if Kane, who has a no-movement clause, will be traded before the March 3 deadline, but it seems the possibility is serious enough that the decision was made for him to draw out of the lineup. Kane has 16 goals and 45 points in 54 contests this season. The 34-year-old had been in the midst of a hot streak, with seven goals and 10 points over his last four outings. With Kane not playing, David Gust, who was recalled from AHL Rockford on Thursday, might make his NHL debut.

  • Blackhawks' Patrick Kane: Three points in Wednesday's win

Kane scored twice, added a power-play assist and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Stars. Kane played an integral role in the Blackhawks' comeback win Wednesday. He factored in on all of their second-period tallies, and he was on the ice for Max Domi's unassisted go-ahead goal in the third. Kane has seven goals and three assists during a four-game point streak, which has thrown fuel on the fire of trade speculation around the winger. He's up to 16 tallies, 45 points, 182 shots on net and a minus-23 rating through 54 contests overall.

  • Blackhawks' Patrick Kane: Almost heroic in shootout win

Kane notched a power-play assist in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout win over the Golden Knights. It took until late in the third period, but Kane made his first mark by setting up Tyler Johnson's game-tying tally. In overtime, Kane came within a fraction of a second of beating the buzzer, but his breakaway tally wouldn't stand. He tried a similar long-range slapshot in the shootout that was also denied. The 34-year-old has been feeling it lately with five goals and two helpers over his last three outings. He's up to 42 points, 180 shots on net and a minus-25 rating through 53 contests overall. Kane hasn't decided whether he will request a trade or not, so rumors about his future will continue to swirl at least until he informs the team of his decision.

  • Blackhawks' Patrick Kane: Lights lamp twice in OT win

Kane scored two goals in Friday's 4-3 overtime win over the Senators. Every game for Kane could be his last with Chicago with the trade deadline approaching, but the 34-year-old gave his long-time club one more vintage performance Friday, opening the scoring 44 seconds into the first period before potting the goal that forced OT with less than four minutes remaining in the third. It's been a mostly disappointing season for Kane, who's up to 11 goals and 37 points through 51 games, but a trade to a contender could revitalize his production.

  • Blackhawks' Patrick Kane: Manages helper in overtime loss

Kane logged an assist, four shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Ducks. Kane's line was on the ice for both of the Blackhawks' goals, and he set up Jason Dickinson on the first one. Those two forwards have worked well together lately -- Kane has a goal and four assists during a four-game point streak. The 34-year-old winger is up to 35 points, 154 shots and a minus-24 rating through 46 contests overall.

  • Blackhawks' Patrick Kane: Delivers pair of helpers

Kane notched two assists, including one on the power play, and three shots on goal in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Oilers. This was Kane's first multi-point effort since Dec. 23. The 34-year-old winger set up Jason Dickinson and Jonathan Toews' tallies in the contest. Kane is up to 34 points (16 on the power play), 150 shots on net and a minus-26 rating through 45 contests as he continues to log top-line minutes on a team near the bottom of the league standings.

  • Blackhawks' Patrick Kane: Generates assist Thursday

Kane notched an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Flames. Kane set up a Jason Dickinson goal in the second period. With two goals and three helpers over his last seven games, Kane is starting to find a bit more consistency on offense. The start winger is still in the midst of a down year with 32 points, 147 shots on net and a minus-25 rating through 44 appearances overall.

  • Blackhawks' Patrick Kane: Buries long-range goal

Kane scored a goal on two shots and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Canucks. Kane opened the scoring with a shot from just inside the blue line at 17:49 of the first period. The 34-year-old has two goals and two helpers over six contests since he returned from a lower-body injury. He's up to nine goals, 31 points, 145 shots on net and a minus-26 rating through 43 appearances.

  • Blackhawks' Patrick Kane: Scores in return from injury

Kane (lower body) scored a goal in an 8-5 loss to Seattle on Saturday. Kane missed the previous three games because of a lower-body injury. His marker came at 19:45 of the third period, so it was too late to change the course of the contest. Kane four goals and six points in his last seven outings, bringing him up to eight goals and 28 points in 38 games this season.

  • Blackhawks' Patrick Kane: Expected to return Saturday

Per Mark Lazerus of The Athletic, Kane (lower body) is expected to return to action Saturday versus Seattle, according to coach Luke Richardson. Kane will not play Thursday against Colorado, as he was placed on injured reserve to open up a roster spot for the returning Mackenzie Entwistle, who has missed the last six games with a wrist injury. Kane will be eligible to return Saturday. He has seven goals and 20 assists in 37 games this season.

  • Blackhawks' Patrick Kane: Expected to miss out versus Avs

Kane (lower body) is doubtful to suit up against Colorado on Thursday, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Kane continues to be labeled day-to-day by coach Luke Richardson but is poised to miss his third consecutive contest. With just 27 points in 37 games this year, Kane could fail to average over a point per game in a season for the first time since 2017-18 when he logged 76 points in 82 contests.
